Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Enthusiast CPU Thermal Compound is a premium Zinc Oxide-based thermal compound that provides excellent thermal performance.
Cools your CPU and GPU: To improve heat transfer and lower temperatures, apply new or replace existing thermal compound to your CPU and GPU.
Improved CPU Cooling: When compared to conventional thermal paste, ultra-low thermal impedance reduces CPU temperatures.
Installation Made Simple: An application stencil and spreader are included to make applying XTM50 to your CPU cooler a breeze.
Filling the Gap: Because of its low viscosity, XTM50 can easily fill microscopic abrasions and channels, allowing for maximum thermal transfer.
Long Service Life: The high-stability liquid compound in the XTM50 lasts for years without drying out, cracking, or losing its consistency.
Non-conductive and contains no volatile compounds, making it safe for both you and your computer.

Questions & Answers

Is it a thick or a runny sauce?

It's simple to put together, and the weather is pleasant. It's thick enough to prevent it from running all over the place, but thin enough to spread easily. The initial application was quite thick, with a liquid-like substance at the bottom. So, before you apply it, give it a good shake. I uninstalled that program and replaced it with another that could be spread across the CPU with ease using a spreader without causing runoff. The paste is one of my favorites.

Is this compatible with a GTX 1080 Ti?

Any GPU or CPU can be used with this.

Is it necessary for this paste to "set in" before I put my water block in place? If that's the case, how long do you think it will take?

No, I do not believe that is true. I just started mine up after putting it on. The heat from the CPU is said to cause the paste to "set." Just remember to use a pea-sized amount and apply even pressure when screwing the cooler on, alternating tightening the screws to ensure that the paste spread evenly.

Is this thermal paste compatible with an i9 9900k processor and a Nzxtkraken X53 water cooling system?

Yes, it is of high quality.

This is insufficient
5/5

I mean, it was a decent amount; it wasn't quite as much as I required, but it'll suffice. As you can see, it's been applied, and it runs beautifully; I can tell how well my game is running by how hot my cpu is getting when it's running this well. I'd buy three more for my next one if I had the money.

Corsair is a brand that I really enjoy
3/5

I've always admired and admired the way Corsair products are built. Everything Corsair produces has a high-end feel to it, as if it were made with genuine enthusiasm. There are thermal pastes, as previously stated. Not in the least. Even when compared to Artic Silver, MX-Silver comes out on top. Both of their pastes, 4, and Grizzly, aren't particularly competitive. Grizzly hits it out of the park with this one. This isn't the worst paste; at only 16 dollars for this "ultra" XTM 50 thermal paste, I'd expect it to perform better than my MX-100. Also, if you have an AMD Ryzen processor or something larger, the applicator is too small to cover the entire surface of the CPU. However, at 4, I'll say 30 C idle and 75 C load. On my Ryzen 2700x, 2 GHz isn't bad, but it's far from ideal.

5/5

It works better than expensive paste, as long as you remember to push out a little and toss the rest. Like any other compound, it settles.

On my Strix Hero III laptop, I use it
5/5

It works like a charm, and it's a lot less messy than the result! So, after the first year of use, I noticed that my laptop was experiencing some thermal throttling, and despite the lack of real guidance on how to fix it (and no real breakdown/application guide for it), I decided to give it a shot. anywhere. ), I took a chance and went for it. br>br>To put it bluntly, I agree with some of the other reviewers because I was not using this on a desktop and thus could not use the template. It doesn't spread well (I ended up tossing caution to the wind and simply blotting it down with a plastic knife edge, then spreading it out as evenly as I could). It's a little. br>It's a little. I'm not sure if I'd call it unique. I understand it's sole purpose is to seal air gaps between heat sinks and whatever they come into contact with, but I found it particularly fickle on the VRMs in my machine (I'm guessing the type of ferrite they use for ASUS machines and THIS paste just. . . Well. They don't work well together. br>On the other hand, for the entire job, I only used about one notch of paste; The OEM paste was a hot mess that eventually broke down, necessitating a massive toothpick level job to remove it all from the machine. br>However, I can tell a significant difference in how cool the laptop is now. I can't say it "cools" any better, because it is a laptop, but it isn't thermal throttling, the fan curves are better behaved, and everything runs better as a result. br>br>I guess that's a win in my book! We'll check it in six months because the entire machine needs to come apart (or sooner if I notice misbehavior again) and a re paste is required (which I'd prefer not to do, but thanks to this paste). I'm going to try it out on my desktop and see how it goes.

Thermal improvement is mediocre at best
3/5

It's simple to use, and you get a lot of paste, but it's overpriced. I purchased the "high performance" tube and used it to repast an RTX 2070 super mini graphics card. This card had an 84-percent chance of being picked up. After being re-heated to 85 degrees Celsius, Despite being pasted, he was still able to hit 81-percent of the time. It was not worth the $15 for a 2-pack of cigarettes. Improvement of three degrees. It's not quite as good as Noctuas thermal paste, which I usually use. All of the positive reviews perplexed me, but I will not be purchasing this again.

I hadn't realized how cool the CPU could (and should) be
5/5

In my first water-cooled car, I just replaced the thermal paste for the first time. CPU with a pump for cooling. Because I was unfamiliar with thermal paste, I did not realize it was time to replace it until my CPU was consistently over 65 degrees Celsius, with temperatures occasionally reaching 84 degrees Celsius. Only then did I become concerned and begin to investigate the issue (using an old laptop to do so) - At the time, I was learning about the importance of replacing the thermal paste on a regular basis. To demonstrate how foolish I had been - This desktop has been mine for about a year and a half. I'm probably lucky it lasted this long because I hadn't replaced its thermal paste in 5 years. br>br>I ordered the same thermal paste that the company that built my computer recommended - this label - I looked up how to replace it on the internet and watched a few videos. The stencil was actually quite simple to use. In less than half an hour, I was done, and my computer was back up and running. And, what's more impressive to me, he did it even during some upper-level classes. I'm only seeing CPU temperatures of 30 to 40 degrees Celsius at the end of typical tasks. I had honestly forgotten that the CPU *should* be below 50C for typical tasks because it had been so long since I had seen it at these temperatures for more than a few minutes after startup.

I read it in another review before buying, but I was too excited after delidding my processor, so I forgot and ended up with a major headache
3/5

br>br>At first, it was very liquidy; it was barely visible but dark, so I applied it as usual. br>br>Temps were good for the most part of the day, but at night I noticed it was basically at the same temperatures as before delidding, so I turned it off and investigated. I removed the cooler to find a nightmare of liquidy paste all over the place, so I pulled the entire motherboard to clean it, but it was looking bad, and to my horror, some did seep into the socket after pulling up the cpu. It can be cleaned with patience, but I messed up everything, bent pins, and recently upgraded my motherboard and processor. I'll get a second memory module for the old processor and build a separate computer; I was planning on upgrading anyway. br>br>I did use it on the new processor/motherboard combo I just paid over 600$ for (dumb, right?). ) I did a small X pre spread after pushing some out until it thickened, and the temps seem to be around average for the processor air cooler combo I use, so I won't call it garbage. br>br>However, be careful because thermal paste is difficult to remove from the socket.
