I ordered a bulk kit to have some available at all times. Unfortunately, these arrived without adhesive, which means I had to order some and wait for it to arrive. This kit works well if you have already acquired some thermal tape, paste, or glue. Otherwise, look around for heatsink kits that come with pre-installed thermal paste, glue, or tape. This adhesive can be replaced by a tube of thermal glue or a roll of thermal tape for the same cost. Overall, though, most of these heatsinks are pretty nice, especially those with black anodized finishes. We bought a roll of thermal tape, cut to size and stuck it on, seems good, warmed within less than a minute, confident they'll help, I am within the parameters of my hardware in terms of voltage and power, however a number of parts are generating significant heat. In all honesty, if I were to have a failure, I probably wouldn't blame the heat sinks, but you should get some thermal tape or adhesive, as they don't come with any. This is a good kit along with a good selection of sizes, but you must understand for which audience it is designed. It performed well for what I needed it for, which was to cool a DIY NVME thumb drive. Before I installed the heatsinks, the drive reached 150 degrees Fahrenheit while being used heavily. The temperature has dropped to *100 degrees after installing a few of these. It feels warm to the touch now. It has a total of about 3 square inches of surface area and it does an excellent job despite its compact size

I was also pleased with the quantity for the price that gives me enough for more than one project with similar heat dissipation requirements. Next time I purchase a pair of heatsinks and a pair of 25mm fans, I'll be pairing them with each other.

The raspberry pies I have are used for things such as a digital photo frame, a pihole, and the I needed some heat sinks, so I picked this one up for a bargain. showed up quickly and looked good. They used thermal paste in place of 3M adhesive thermal tape so they were better at transferring heat. In addition to using a lot of microcontrollers in my work, these little guys are perfect for use with two-part thermal epoxy (MG Chemicals is my only brand I use for that) if you want to attach a more expensive attachment. It is fine to use 2-sided thermal tape. I bought two boxes after my first one arrived, mainly because it was a good I'm extremely pleased with the quality Original Equipment Manufacturers With these, there is a similar quality.
