This is similar to the cooling kit you would get with a water cooling system

It was to repaste and pad my 1070 TI with a twist. I then water-cooled it. The spreader and cooler I had attached to my 1080 TI a few years ago still worked. By swapping these out, I lowered my cooling by 27C and was able to use the 1070 TI. By using this Spreader, Paste and these Pads, I avoided the terror of trying to find a new card on a market that would make a scalper insane. In general, you get a lot more than you need, and there's a pretty good combination between I will buy again if and when I need it.

Assuming this works, I bought this after having done the same mod to my Sabrent drive to drop temps(67c to 30c with the Long The goal of 2) was to reach high idle temps of a Dell G5 SE in a fanless low power mode of 70°C. In most new laptops, there are no thermal pads on the case to vent out the heat, which is good for using the laptop on your lap, but most people use them on a desk or table. This mod helps to reduce the laptop's temperature by forcing it down into the case. Those trying this should use a laptop cooling pad to increase cooling result.

For those who are tech minded, there is also a massive drop in temperatures (in C) over 50 degrees. It takes less time for fans to spin up in use. There was no gain at all for

I purchased these pads so I could effectively rebuild my older GPU given how hard it is to find GPUs at the moment. I like it a lot! It was especially appreciated by some that the thickness was variable.

The GPUs on three of my computers were getting too hot, so I had to overhaul them. The thermal paste was redone, then the thermal pads were replaced. A great improvement in my overall temperature was lowering my thermostat by 7 to 10 degrees.
