Is there a way to take the power cord out?

Yes, the cable is a standard C7 cable that can be removed.

Will this provide 100 watts to a 16-inch Macbook Pro if I use a 100 watt USB-C power supply? Is it possible to use a c pd cable?

Yes. I purchased it for my 16-inch Macbook Pro. Please keep in mind that if you only have the MBP plugged in, you will only get 100 watts. If you plug in other devices, the wattage is reduced to share between them. I was able to confirm this using iStats on my MacBook Pro.

Is there a black version of this? Is there a black version planned?

It will be available in two shades of black: one that is slightly darker and the other that is slightly lighter.

Bulky. It is not possible to charge the iPhone quickly. If both USB-C and USB-A are being used, Each C port has a maximum power output of 50W. This is the third USB-connected device that I've purchased. I've owned a C enabled hub. Nekteck created the following: one created by Satechi: I actually own three Nektecks and keep them in my house. There is only one USB port on the Nekteck. Three USB-A ports and a C port with a maximum power output of 60 watts A pair of ports that can share a maximum of 12 watts, which is fine, but I needed a way to charge my laptop at 87 watts and my iPhone at 12 watts, or charge two USB-C devices at the same time. A pair of 12W devices. br>I have a 15-inch MacBook Pro from 2018 and a portable USB-C hub. ZMI's C battery has a 45W charging and discharging capability. I also have a USB drive. Fast charging with a C to Lightning iPhone cable, as well as charging a Ronin SC via USB-C. C, but it can also charge via USB at a slower rate. A, as well as a micro-USB dual-battery charger for the batteries in my camera. USB from a USB-to-USB-to-USB-to-US Because it has one 60W port and one 18W USB-C port, I keep the Satechi in my bag. The USB-C port, as well as the two USB-A ports, are all available. A total of 12W is shared by a pair of ports. I can charge my laptop at 60 watts while simultaneously charging another device via USB. I had hoped this would be able to take the place of the Satechi, but it only provides 100W if the single USB-C port is used. br>br>I had hoped this would be able to take the place of the Satechi, but it only does so if the single USB-C port is used. The C port is currently being utilized. Even if I connect my iPhone to the second USB port, My laptop's power consumption drops to 50W when I connect it to a lightning cable, and neither of the USB-C ports work. Fast charging for an iPhone X appears to be possible with C ports! I frequently edit video on my laptop while another device charges, and while 60W is barely adequate, anything less than 50W is unacceptable for a charger that costs three times as much as the Nektech and is more than twice as large and heavy. br>I really wish this could do proper iPhone fast charging, as well as intelligently split and/or prioritize one USB-C port over another. My laptop's power demands may necessitate using the C port. br>I'd rather return this and stick with the Satechi or Nekteck, which are smaller, lighter, and less expensive. It appears that the Nekteck has been updated to a new model that supports 87W on a single USB port. Two pairs of USB-A ports receive 12W each from the C port. A ports:.

It does exactly what it says

For an airplane, this is an excessive amount of power draw. This accomplishes its goal perfectly. It easily charges both my MacBook Pro and my iPad Pro. There is a minor flaw in it, in my opinion. It's not that the product is defective; it's just that it consumes too much power while flying. If you try to use it on a long flight, the circuit breaker will trip. As a result, bring something else to do while on the plane.

It has a hefty feel to it

But it's the only one of its kind. I bought it because I need to charge a 13-inch Macbook Pro, an 11-inch iPad Pro, an iPhone XS Max, and a few other smaller devices on a regular basis. I've used the Anker 60W 2-Port USB Charger a couple of times. I've had the Port USB C Charger for a few months and it's great, but it only charges two devices at a time, and when one is plugged in, the other is reduced to 30 watts, which is much less than my Macbook or iPad require. And I need something else when I use that one for travel; two ports are insufficient. br>This device can charge multiple devices at the same time at full speed. Yes, it's larger than any other Anker charger I own, including the Anker 5 port wall charger, but I prefer to carry only one tool that gets the job done. No more fumbling with multiple chargers and cables in the hopes of finding outlets that are in the right place. Because this is a cable-based charger rather than a direct-to-wall charger, I have more flexibility in where I charge my devices. Overall, if you travel with multiple devices and struggle to keep them all charged and organized, this may solve your problem, as it did mine. br>For me, the most common application scenario is: USB C 1 - 13-inch Macbook Pro with USB-C port 2 - 11" iPad Pro with USB A 1 port - iPhone XS Max with USB Type-A 2 - Apple Watch is a piece of technology that allows you.

Edit: Monoprice 100W 4-Way Power Supply Instead, use this Port PD GaN Technology Wall Charger for MacBook Pro/Air, iPad Pro, and iPhone. It's more compact and has a more efficient power distribution system. The Pros: br>br>The Pros: br>br>The Pros: br>b It's a single charger with two USB ports. The disadvantages: br>br> It's a stretch to call it "intelligent power allocation. " If you connect one USB-powered device to your computer, you'll be able to charge it It will charge it at a rate of 100 watts if it is a type C device. It will significantly decrease if you plug in other cables (even if no devices are connected). I wish I could connect my USB flash drive to my computer. My USB-powered phone would take up less space if I used a C phone. C laptop. After some deliberation, I've decided that this is a done deal. For me, this is a deal breaker. It's going back to you.
