For an airplane, this is an excessive amount of power draw. This accomplishes its goal perfectly. It easily charges both my MacBook Pro and my iPad Pro. There is a minor flaw in it, in my opinion. It's not that the product is defective; it's just that it consumes too much power while flying. If you try to use it on a long flight, the circuit breaker will trip. As a result, bring something else to do while on the plane.
