Greetings,br> The cord is approximately 4-foot in length. Longer than 5 feet. The hub is on the left side of a 46-inch-wide elevated desk, with the cord running over the left edge of the shelf to a surge suppressor on the right side. The cord is of a good length but not excessively so.
I simply turned it on its side and it works perfectly on my nightstand.
Thank you, Nancy W. ,

Selected User Reviews For seenda USB Charger, 6 Port USB Wall Charger USB Charging Stations with Smart Identification - Black
It's fantastic! This allows me to charge my Bluetooth headphones, phone, portable charger battery, tablet, vape battery, and my girlfriend's phone all at the same time. Most nights of the week, that's how it goes. I've had it for over a month and have yet to experience a slow charge or hiccup. The only criticism I have is that it lacks sufficient weight to stand on its own unless it is supported by a vertical surface or has the chord pulled down through a hole or gap, anchoring the hub in an upright position. This is, once again, a minor quibble.
I was so pleased with the first one that I purchased a second. I've been using this device to charge the playstation remotes and my son's iPod for a while now, and it's been great. The only oddity is that the power light is located on the bottom, where it cannot be seen. It's one of those super bright blue LEDs, so that could be a good thing.
I have a lot of USB-charged devices, but there was only one USB outlet on the wall. I was looking for one with good reviews because my previous one broke, and I really like this one. It can charge up to six devices at once without stuttering or overheating. I'd buy it again because it's tough and stylish, unlike my old one, which was drab and had some ports break. This one is still going strong six months later.
(Each room in our 98-year-old house has only two outlets! ) The ability to charge up to six devices at the same time is extremely useful!.
This is extremely valuable information. Most electronics with charging capabilities seem to come with a USB cable but not the plug needed to charge your device from a wall outlet, so I'm constantly swapping what I'm charging for something else that needs charging. But I'm not going to turn on my computer just to charge a Bluetooth speaker. I can charge all of my devices at the same time with this charging tower.
When I was looking for a charging station to go with the other gear near my desktop computer, I came across this one. Not a wall wart or a horizontal station, but one with a cord and a vertical form factor was what I was looking for. This one has the exact shape I was looking for (as seen in the photo) and is powered by a nice flat cord with a standard plug. It also has a fantastic appearance. For some reason, the charging station's blurb fails to mention its power rating of 6A, which is critical for any charging station because it determines how many devices it can charge at once. br>br>When I first turned it on, I plugged in a detector to make sure all of the ports worked as expected (which they did, as seen in the photo). Because the maximum output across all six ports is 6A, it can provide the equivalent of six 1A chargers for devices like cell phones. More importantly, it will provide more than 1A for devices that are designed to pull more current, such as a tablet. As a result, if you plug in more than 4 or 5 tablets, you'll be testing its limits, which explains why it won't charge 6 iPads at the same time. Regarding its proclivity to topple over when you plug things in, I stabilized mine by securing it to the side of my cable modem cage with velcro. Based on my initial impressions, I would give it a five-star rating, but only time will tell. I'll come back to this review if it fails too soon or behaves badly in any other way.
This has been a lifesaver for us when we travel. We have hour apple phones and apple watches that take at least four plugs, which has made life so much easier because some hotels do not have that many plugs. Last month, we traveled to Bali and only used one converter, which allowed us to charge everything with this USB charger. So far, it hasn't caused me any problems.
It functioned admirably for two months before abruptly dying. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. The seller contacted me almost immediately after I left my first review, offering to replace or refund the item. My replacement is on its way, and I am confident that it will perform admirably. I'm going from a 1 to a 5 star rating.
