Not on its own. It's what I use to connect a capacitor to my amplifier, which improves the sound quality.
Yes, I did it with the help of a splice cap. To keep the splice cap in place, I wrapped it in skink wrap.
It means that you can use all wires with a diameter of 0,2,4 mm.
If you're talking about 1/0 gauge wire, you'll need to cut some of the copper wire strands to make it fit. I have 1/0 ferrules, which are slightly too large. The 0 gauge wire fits perfectly, but the 1/0 gauge wire is slightly larger.

From the battery up front to this distribution block in my trunk, I have 1/0 wire running. This product allows me to run two separate amps, one with zero guage after the split that drives my subs and the other with four guage that drives my mids and highs. I checked for voltage drop after the block with a multimeter to make sure I wasn't losing any power, and the readings were the same at both amps as they were at my battery. Great product; I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! The only drawback is the limited mounting holes (it only has two, as shown in the photo), but I was able to drill an additional hole and it's now rock solid. Overall, I am VERY pleased with my purchase. It comes with three reducer ferrules that I didn't use. Although they appear to be well-made, I chose to use a different type that I had on hand from previous installations.
For my two-amplifier setup, it worked flawlessly. To power each amp, I ran 0 gauge wire into it and two 2 gauge OFC wires out. Secure connections, a large enough cover to conceal any exposed wires without the need to trim them, and excellent build quality. True 0 gauge is accepted by all three terminals, and they all work well with 2 gauge as well. I'd buy from you again!.
Power splitter of exceptional quality. and is designed to work with true 0 gauge wire. I used it to run both 0 gauge and 4 gauge sky high power wire, and it worked perfectly. I highly recommend it.
This is a monster of a machine. I'd give it a thumbs up. I bought one to try out and ended up buying three more because they're so well made. There is no need to purchase additional ferrules because they come with 0 gauge ferrules. This product has made my life easier. The case could be a little easier to connect, but it's not like a car door that you'll be opening and closing 5 times a day.
It's a fantastic film in general. My wires in gauges of 1/0 and 8 will work. The cover has a good amount of weight to it. However, I'm worried that the top might come off by accident. It would be ideal if it were secured with screws.
Splitter that works well. Sleeves for smaller gauges are included.
Solid as a rock. I needed something solid and heavy, and this fit the bill.
The quality appears to be good. The only criticism I have is that there are only two mounting holes. I had to drill a couple more holes to secure it because the wire I ran to it wanted to pull the screws up.
