Made in China is written on the box. I bought four of these from three different places. Two of them were installed on HD trucks (with 4/0 battery cables). It appears to be of high quality. The only way to find out is to wait. Even the covers were made of high-quality plastic (something that isn't always the case). You'll want to keep an eye on the stud size options (M10 vs M8, if that's a factor). I would purchase this item again.

What are the materials used to make the posts (screws) and nuts?

Because they are intended for use in the marine environment, they are made of stainless steel.
