However, not to be pessimistic, I install car audio. I was curious if I could incorporate it into my car's audio system. I already had one amplifier in my car and wanted to get another. For my ground, I went with a black distribution. It's connected to the car's bare metal and runs closer to my amplifiers' ground. So far, it's been a success. Even after hours of use at high volumes, my amplifiers remain cool. br>br>The terminal block's construction is excellent, and the plastic around the bolts allows for more mounting options. The metal plate (bus bar) that connects the two posts is of good quality. It's small enough to fit in almost any space. br>br> It's the right size for the job and can be hidden for a professional appearance in any installation, in my opinion. This terminal block set comes highly recommended by me.
Everything else (that I didn't have to deal with) was done well by the previous owner. ), but for my stereo and amplifiers, I needed thick wires and secure connections. These blocks did an excellent job of completing the task at hand. To prevent galling and corrosion, I used silicone grease on the threads and other surfaces. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. br>br>Neither the lack of a cover for the positive block nor the 15 amp fuse that sacrificed its life for the cause bothered me. After that, I left the main hot wire unconnected until the rest of the system was completed. As basic insulation, I used a length of vinyl hose slit and notched and pushed it against the red block.
This product was chosen to disperse the power for the transformer in my low-voltage landscape project. For the downstream lights, it was critical that I have a clean connection. After drilling holes for the wires to enter the box, I enclosed them in a weatherproof box. I was very impressed with the product's quality, and while it's probably overkill for my needs, I'm relieved to know I have a good, strong connection.
Extremely long-lasting and clearly of excellent quality. The base material, as well as the metal parts, appear to be extremely strong and durable. I've purchased a few bus bars from Amazon, and the construction of this one is superior to/equivalent to the best I've seen.
Mounting screws were included in the package. The seller quickly replaced one of the incorrect lugs that had been sent. I will purchase from this seller in the future for all of my electrical projects.
This was purchased to replace a rusted terminal in my 1993 GMC work van. My alternator problem was resolved and the short was repaired after I installed it. It's also applicable to a variety of other situations.
This was purchased for a DIY project to create a portable charge box for an electric fence, and it performed flawlessly.
These terminal blocks appear to be well-constructed and durable. I anticipate that they will perform flawlessly. Of course, only time will tell, but they appear to be sturdy and well-suited to disseminating power from my 12-volt battery.
