Bit Ten D Signal Interface Processor by Audison

Questions & Answers

I'm not sure what this is for. Is it a cross over, a line driver, or a digital signal processor?

It's a DSP with line-level input capability. DSPs, on the other hand, have crossovers and other features built in. As a result, it can also be used as a line output converter. Alternatively, RCA/Optical input can also be used.

Is this for stock radios, or will a nice head help?

This device can be used in both environments.

How does the bit ten d monitor volume (if it does) when adjusting the eq function? ) to determine when you've successfully created a 'flat' response?

A "De-" button is available on the Bit Ten. EQ function that removes the factory EQ settings- I'm going to give you a straight answer. During the initial setup, this is accomplished.

Can I still use the stock volume if I want to set and forget the system and hide the drc?

Yes, the stock volume controller will continue to be your main volume controller if you use the original stereo as your source unit.

The first step in putting together a high-quality car stereo system
5/5

This dsp made a significant difference in my Ford Fusion build. The tunability is incredible, and the sound quality is superb. It's a little on the pricey side, but the features make it stand out.

On the market, the best processor
5/5

I own a 2014 WRX, and those of you who own a WRX know how bad the factory speakers are! I replaced the speakers with Focal 165 K2Ps and powered them with a JL Audio HD 900/5 amp. I've used a JL Cleansweep and an AudioControl Three in the past. 1 and they worked fine for converting line level (speaker level input). I had the Three a week or so ago. 1 Removed the Audison Bit 10 D and installed it in an Active configuration (no external crossover). I can't tell you how much of a difference this processor has made! Now I can hear the dramatic fidelity, depth, and clarity of the music. I'm hearing sounds I've never heard before in songs. The mid bass response is 100% more audible than before, the depth in the drivers and tweeters is incredible and the imagining and tuning of the Bit 10D is simply remarkable Anyone considering purchasing a processor should do so immediately. br>br>I've been a car audio enthusiast for over 15 years and worked for 6 years at a well-known and large chain car audio company, and I've never heard a processor that has made such a significant improvement as the Audison Bit 10 D, which I strongly recommend.

The processor that converts your OEM HU into audiophile-grade sound
5/5

This is the second processor I've installed in one of our family's vehicles. Because the first (JL Cleansweep) did such a good job, I decided to give the Audison a try because of its stellar reputation in the industry. br>The car in question is a 2015 Honda Fit LX. To avoid losing connected features, we wanted to keep the factory HU: Reverse parking, mileage calculator, and so on. There is currently no aftermarket HU that can integrate ALL of the standard features that appear on the display, according to our research. br>CCF, CLD, and MLV were used to soundproof the doors, hatch, boot floor, firewall, and wheelwells. If you're thinking about upgrading your subcompact's audio components, I strongly advise you to go through this exercise to make the most of your money. It won't be as quiet as a Lexus, but it won't be as loud as a tinny, air-conditioned car either. a subset of Particularly at highway speeds, the vehicle is compact. The Honda sounds just as good when it's parked in the garage as it does when it's cruising at 70 mph! br>It was important to keep the Fit's space flexibility, so the components chosen had to be "SMALL. " As a result, a Kenwood Excelon XR 400/4 amp, as well as a Kenwood KSC-400/4 amp, were used. Polk DB 6501 speakers and SW11 powered sub (both fit perfectly under the front passenger seat). R). 4 gauge (positive) and 8 gauge (negative) wires were used to connect all the powered components directly to the battery (via power blocks). br>Do-it-yourselfers will have no trouble hooking up the Audison. There will be no issues if you plan ahead, mark all the wires, and connect to other components properly; there will be no buzzing, humming, or clicking. There was no need for noise filters. br>The initial sound result was much better, but I knew it could be much better for the investment. I just couldn't figure out how to deal with the Audison's internal equalizers. I tried to have it professionally done, but the technician managed to make it sound even worse (it cost $150, but the stereo shop gave me a full refund after I complained). I sat down, took out my laptop, and spent two hours configuring everything (following the recommended parameters in the owner's manual). A little more fine-tuning to fit my listening preferences (I prefer a FLAT sound with a full, tight bass). As a result, audiophile-level sound is produced. The sound is richer and clearer than the Mark Levinson system in my wife's previous Lexus RX350. However, it pales in comparison to the wife's current MB G550 Harmon Kardon system. br>The D has a DRC (digital remote control) that I use to adjust the volume all the time. A Sirius XM Plus was also connected to the DRC's Aux input directly. It's never sounded so good to listen to satellite radio! br>The installation was completed in September. /Oct. 14, 2014 Since then, there have been no problems. Anyone who wants to keep their factory HU would benefit greatly from this processor. The sound quality has significantly improved. The component upgrades and soundening came to a total of $2000 for me. You will save at least $2000 by doing it yourself, and your system will sound fantastic!.
