Long road trips will never be the same again! So what's the deal with the three stars? Because the headrest mounts aren't compatible with my vehicle (a Chevrolet Traverse). My car's riser bars are too close together, so I have no choice but to use Velcro to secure the monitors. I wish there was a smaller bracket option available! br>br>UPDATE: br>br> br>Absolutely fantastic customer service: the manufacturer contacted me as a result of this review, and is now sending me smaller brackets that will fit in my car. Wowsa! That level of service is becoming increasingly rare these days, so I've given it a star. I'll post another update once I get the new brackets and install them. UPDATED: br>br>NEXT UPDATED: br>br>NEXT UPDATED: br>I got the new brackets, and the monitors now fit perfectly in my car! My kids and I took a 2,000-mile road trip and were very pleased with these monitors as well as the excellent customer service. This summer, we went on a road trip, and these monitors helped us pass the time. One thing to keep in mind is that only DVDs support mirroring (i. e. , playing the same thing on both monitors). Video from an SD card, for example, cannot be mirrored. You can plan around this limitation as long as you're aware of it.
The fact that the DVD players can be used independently or in tandem is appealing to me. The mounting equipment was simple to install, but depending on the location of the vehicle's headrest, it may not be completely secure - Various clip adjusters were provided, however, to ensure that it was as tight as possible. The only charger provided is for use in the car, so a wall charger would be useful. The screens are crystal clear, and the remote controls are in good working order. Both of my children enjoy being able to watch something while driving. I've only had them for a short time, so hopefully there won't be any problems on a long road trip.
This is fantastic; they've been working flawlessly up to this point. Excellent HD quality. The volume is perfect; just remember that we all have low-quality home videos and movies; just make sure you have the best on those and you'll be fine. Also, with the SD and USB slots, I'm pretty much set. I purchased a large USB drive and began uploading a large number of movies. Even better, two monitors, each with its own control remote and headphones, each playing a different movie. This addition improves the feel and appearance of my car. br>br>The best way to meet a customer's needs is to provide excellent customer service. This is something that I would recommend to anyone.
It was simple to put together the set. The headrest brackets are sturdy, with multiple size blocks to adjust to each car model of headrest, and they securely hold the screen in place. The bracket set allows you to change the height and angle of your screen. A remote is included with each DVD player, or you can use the same remote for both. The picture is nice and sharp, and the volume can be turned up really loud, easily overpowering the car's travel noise. The cords are long enough to fit in just about any vehicle. For me, the disadvantage is that when one dvd is playing and all of the screens are watching the same movie, only the screen with the dvd will have sound. When the headphone jacks are used while sharing a DVD, it is extremely quiet, and the screen with the DVD must have its headphone volume turned up to the point where the other set can hear the movie through its headphones. The volume and headphones are perfect if each screen is playing its own dvd, and the customer service was very helpful and attentive to my concerns. I'm still pleased with my purchase and would recommend it. My kids think it's fantastic as well.
My overhead DVD player broke, so I purchased this DVD player set for a long trip with my 7 and 4-year-old children. For a variety of reasons, I found it to be much better than I expected. Commentary can be found below. Advantages: br>br>
1. The screen is of excellent quality, and the views are clear.
2. Several DVDs are being played at the same time.
3. For iDevices, there is an HDMI option.
4. It does not obstruct the rearview mirror.
5. They're held in place by headrest mounts.
6. The DVD player is so simple to use that my 7-year-old can operate it without my assistance.
7. Most importantly, it was reasonably priced, as the local car electronics store wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for the device as well as labor. This is extremely simple to set up on your own. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
1. There are none because it is covered by an 18-month warranty.
I looked into and compared DVD players for HOURS. This is a fantastic item - I highly recommend it. It's simple to put together, and the mounts make all the difference. My 7-year-old understands how to use the dual-control system. I bought a DVD system for her and her younger brother, which makes road trips more enjoyable because I don't have to reload a DVD every few hours, and they can watch their own DVDs when they argue about which one to watch. The headphones are fantastic, and the remotes come with batteries. This purchase has completely exceeded my expectations. As if that weren't enough, Shindo, the seller, is incredible. I was blown away by their level of customer service! If you're looking for a dual-purpose vehicle, this is the place to go! Don't hesitate to buy this DVD system because it's both simple to use and a high-quality product.
everything is in order. Tested DVD player 2, which had excellent sound but a black-and-white screen instead of a color screen. I'll update the review once we've figured out what's wrong. br>***UPDATE*** Shindo quickly contacted us about the dvd players and did everything they could to fix the problem with the defective model. Their customer service is outstanding, and they went above and beyond to solve the problem. We 100% like the option they have provided and would delightedly purchase from them in the future.
