I ordered a replacement and it works perfectly, with no problems with the screen or HDMI playback. It was a breeze to mount it and play it for my children. It's great to see that the company cares about my satisfaction.

I'd give it five stars if it weren't for one minor flaw. There was one thing that was not included in the package. Although it is a car DVD player, I purchased it because it could be used at home (as stated), but I was unaware that it had to be plugged in at home as well. I was aware that it had to be plugged in at all times in the car, but I was unaware that it also had to be charged at home. Great picture, great sound, and great player. The only drawback is that when children use it at home, it is moved from room to room and must be plugged in and out.
This was purchased to keep my child occupied on a long car journey. It worked, but only because it was able to stay plugged in the entire time; keep in mind that it must be plugged in to function. There is no power source. It wasn't until I was outside the return window that I realized what had happened.
Couldn't be more pleased! The sound quality is excellent, and the installation is simple. It was well worth the investment!.
The only thing I would change about this item is that it should have a stop and a menu button. In addition, the battery life isn't very long.
The SD card and USB port are the primary reasons I purchased this device. They do work, in fact. Other devices that have been advertised for this purpose have failed to deliver. According to the product specifications, you can use a card/drive with a capacity of up to 128GB that is formatted in fat32. To format in fat32 with Windows 10 and drives larger than 32GB, you'll need a special utility. exFat isn't going to help you lose weight. AVI using an SD card (Transcend U1 64GB) and two USB drives (a hot-running Sandisk Ultrafit 64GB and a cool-running PNY EliteX Fit 64GB). Temps associated with the drive rather than the player). I was able to make it work as well. IFO/. DVD files in the VOB format. This, however, provided no benefit over. MP4 . MKV and . AVI, with no improvement in color, as shown below: Second, the image is terrible. I'm no picture expert, and my television is a bargain. But the colors are washed out, and the contrast is off, which I noticed right away. I played around with the menus' brightness, contrast, and color sliders. The best I could come up with is shown in the photos attached. (EDIT: When playing directly from a DVD, the picture is much better, but still not great. When you play those same videos again, the picture is still bad. IFO/. VOB DVD files from a SD card or USB drive It's got to be something to do with the transcoding and flash reading. However, I do not intend to use DVD in this situation. So there's no change in my opinion. EditEdit: Even in DVD mode, the picture is so bad that other members of my family are unable to watch it. As a result, we're thinking about coming back. I haven't yet connected it to my car or headrest. )br>br>Full disclosure: I haven't yet connected it to my car or headrest. But I've used similar devices before and don't anticipate any issues; I'll report back if I discover anything noteworthy.
Because my 2015 Impala's headrest rods are curved, it was difficult to install, but after a half hour, I was able to get it to work.
