Twetters do come with a crossover that works, but you will need an amp to use them. There are 8 speakers connected to an 800 watt amp with a side-by-side fader and twetters on the front and back

There are a lot of them. Despite how large they are, they barely fit in my Buick's stock space. Approximately 3 inches is the length of the horn, 5 inches is the length of the back, and the tubes are about 5 inches I would definitely recommend this

The first thing I need to mention is that I am an audiophile, so I take my sound reproduction very seriously. It was fine with the Bose that I had in this suburban. With the new head unit I installed a Boston acoustic 4 channel amp, and I upgraded the head unit with a Pioneer. A week after replacing the Bose, it broke. The midrange is composed of five foam bafflings, and there is a passive crossover on the two sides. Skar tweeters sound amazing after I added them. The sounds can be harsh at first, but are easily smoothed out with a little sound adjustment. This is a very loud and clear voice. Listening to high res audio is one of my favorite things to do. It appears that screws sent to attack speakers are meant to be mounted in a box that is 1/2 inch thick. In order to gain thickness for mounting in my lids, I used 70 x 16 machine screws and 1/8 inch 1 3/4 machine bushings. I love how sturdy and beautiful they are. This is a brand new pair of tweeters that I have wired up to my Skar SKv2 My mid component speakers are still overpowered even though I have them fed through a crossover. I plan on installing a resistor in line or L-cable It is only about 60 watts that I am feeding them, and I just want to ensure they are balanced with my components without compromising their sound. If you have a mid-range amplifier and would like to add these, you might need to make some adjustments to balance them with your other speakers if you have an aftermarket amplifier for your mid-range.
These Skar setups sound fantastic, I had already installed their component setup, but the tweeters just weren't as loud as I was expecting, so I ordered the full set-up with this skar source.
I think the money is worth it. Sound quality is very good and the volume is All of the characteristics I look for in a tweeter.
The music sounded really good when they were playing. It took about a week for one of the tweets to blow up. If there are better alternatives out there, I'm not going to fight it out.
