Questions & Answers

So, these speakers are compatible with a 2013 Nissan Central?

So, how did they work out? I also have a 2013 Sentra and am curious if they will fit.

What is the depth of the pool? I'd like to install them in the rear doors of my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500. Do you have any idea if they'll work? Do the adapters come in handy?

These kickers have a magnet depth of about three inches. 25 inches in length. That's how much room you'll need behind your mounting surface to fit them in your truck. I have mine installed in the back deck of a 2000 Honda Prelude, so I'm not sure how the mounting location in the 2015 Ram trucks looks.

Is it possible to get a pair of these speakers?

Yes, it is the couple.

Will these fit a Jeep Grand Cherokee with an Infinity Gold sound system from 2001?

Regardless of vehicle, should fit into any 6x9 location. The most important step is to remove the old one and measure clearance with the window open. Or, if you're replacing them, measure the depth of the ones that came from the factory. When rolling down the window, aftermarket magnets are frequently much larger, causing the glass to hit.

Kicker deserving
4/5

These were purchased for my 2005 Dodge Ram Pickup and, with the addition of the stock speaker spacers and speaker wire adapters (sold separately), they were almost a drop-in replacement for my truck, which I knew before ordering them! br>br>In terms of sound, I was hoping for a little more low end from my Alpine Deck (no amplifier) 18w x 4, but maybe if I add an external amplifier they will put out more low end bass? Kicker speakers are known for their bass, which is why I chose them for the front doors, but deep bass requires watts! Because the mid-range is so distinct, I dialed it down a notch. The higher end of my Alpine Deck is crisp after two notches. Because there are so many internal sound issues with different cars, such as baffling, door enclosure size, speaker placement, and so on, it's rare to achieve perfection by simply installing a set of speakers in the doors, but I've had many cars with many different speakers over the years, and this pair is deserving!.

Bass is not very strong
3/5

I purchased some smaller kickers for my motorcycle tank bag and was blown away by their quality. br>As a result, I was anticipating these for my truck. This was a huge disappointment. The mids and highs were fine, but the bass was completely absent. They taper off in the upper bass range, leaving a thin lower bass. I tried both speakers and switched the phases, but it didn't work. Replaced the stock speakers with new ones, and it made a huge difference. br>Bearing in mind that these have nice mids and highs. If you're going to add bass speakers, etc. , these should be fine. However, they lack bass as stand-alone speakers. With a bigger amp and better tone controls, I suppose. br>On top of that, I'm responsible for return shipping. br>From now on, I'll try out speakers before purchasing them.

At first, I was torn between two opinions, but this is a must-read! When I first installed these, I was disappointed that they had less bass (noise) than factory speakers in a 2019 Dodge Challenger's base audio group
4/5

The base speakers are single cone 6x9s with a rms power rating of 15 watts. Kicker rates these speakers at 90 watts rms, so I'm barely pushing them past half their potential with my factory head unit of 50 watts x 4. Because these are three-way speakers, I immediately noticed a significant improvement in music clarity over the factory speakers. To make it sound more natural, I turned the treble way down. They did produce less bass noise than factory speakers, and I say noise because the bass produced by these speakers is a crisp, clear rumble. They sound great even at maximum volume with no distortion because I'm underpowering them. These sound much louder, clearer, and overall better than factory speakers after some equalizer tweaking. They'll need to be connected to an amplifier to reach their full potential. Speakers who are excellent at the beginning or intermediate levels. I'm not bothered by the slightly lower bass rumble; I'm more pleased with the loudness and clarity, especially since I have two 12" subwoofers behind the back seat.

For the price, this is an excellent sound system!! I'm an Infinity Kappa guy and usually use their parts, but I installed these in the front doors of my 2018 Chevy Equinox using the Metra 82-100
5/5

Metra 72-2003 GM 6x9 truck speaker adapters, 3004 GM 6x9 truck speaker adapters, 3004 GM 6x9 truck speaker adapters 5600 Ford door speaker wire harness adapters, as well as the install bay baffles (yes, they work on GM, but the red tabs can't be locked). br>br>I'm also using an Audio Integration Solutions T-100 to power a Kicker KXA 8005 amplifier. They sound fantastic when used with a DS18 Select 12" 4 ohm svc sub in a sealed box. The crisp highs and clear mids work well with the Massive Audio MX3 speakers in my dash corners, giving my front seats a much more expansive sound stage. br>br>Now I'm wishing I'd put Kicker 6 on my computer. Instead of MA MX65s, there are 5 coaxes in the back doors. If you want great sound but don't want to spend a lot of money, these are a great option.

They seem good at first, but they don't last
3/5

Because the holes on the bracket didn't line up, I had to use some self-adhesive tape to replace the stock rear deck speakers on my 2000 Grand Prix. metal screws are being tapped They sound great even with the stock head unit, and I'm thinking about getting an amp to give them a little more punch (heh puns). Much better than the speakers that came with the house! br>br>3/11/18 EDIT: The speakers have failed and now sound just as bad as the stock speakers they were supposed to replace. These did not last long in my opinion. I didn't overpower them; instead, I gave them the same amount of power as my car's stock unit.

For such a small investment, you get a lot of bang for your buck
5/5

The sound quality is excellent, with clear highs. Although the lows could be a little louder, the overall sound is fantastic. My purchase replaced a pair of Kicker CSC 6x9s that had worn out over time. As a result, the sound suffered only minor damage. I would put these in your car without hesitation. I installed these in a 2013 Tacoma and they work perfectly with the factory head unit.
