The speakers were fine, but there was no way to register for the warranty. When you ask why they marked them off with a black marker, they don't respond. I was able to get one for a low price and attempted to register it, but the phone number had already been taken. To me, it appears to be shady!.
HOLY CRAP is all I have to say about the number five speaker I've ever heard. In my 2009 GMC Sierra 1500, I replaced the stock speakers with a stock head unit. These are what I used for the back doors. Because I believe the head unit equalizer concentrates bass in the back, I chose these for that position and fosgates for the front. These speakers are incredible for speakers that don't have an amplifier. Those who complain about the lack of bass are looking for subwoofer-quality bass. Expecting that from amp free 6 is unrealistic. Loudspeakers with a diameter of five inches NOW IS THE TIME TO GET YOUR HANDS ON THESE.
On my bike, I have two pairs: one for the fairing and the other for the lowers. I've had no problems with the ones in the lowers being exposed to rain. br>br>I have these powered with a small Kenwood Amp (kac-1) and have had no problems. m1824bt) and they're quite nice. I can hear them over my pipes at 75 miles per hour. Anyone who asks me about them gets my recommendation.
I installed them on my 2017 Harley-Davidson Road Glide, and they look great. It was a little difficult to get the speaker mounts and factory holes to line up, but they're on now. To enhance the motorcycle application, I would recommend using an amplifier.
This is the second time I've bought a pair of Polk 652s. Access cab for a 2004 Tundra. In the front doors, I have stock tweeters, but these are in all four doors. The sound quality is incredible. The lows are off, and the highs are evenly distributed. To be honest, I've replaced a lot of speakers with "high" end brands over the years. Polk, Romford Fallsgate, Kicker, and Sony are just a few examples. I've never had this sound quality without insulating, moving a sub, or fiddling with a car's sterio to suit my tastes. These sound fantastic in any vehicle, whether it's stock or not. With these, you get exactly what you pay for.
However. Running as filler speakers between two sets of Pioneer 8's and a 12 sub on my boat with 100 watts rms (clean JL Audio amp), so I turn the gain down a little for balance. They are crystal clear and play at a high volume. However, they're harsh until you tune and tame them, and even then, they're a little harsh for my taste, so an EQ is required to pull out some of the mids and tone them down beyond the crossover. I only tested for 20 minutes during the tune, but for the price, it's worth it. nice buy. On the boat, we'll see how well they hold up.
br>On my previous boat, I scrimped on speakers and ended up with some mediocre Boss 612" speakers; not this time! These aren't cheap either, but they sound much better than the $20 Boss speakers I had on the old boat!.
Speakers are fantastic. They're mounted on the Tsukayu fairing on my 2020 Honda Fury. The NVX VADM2 is the amp I bought on Amazon. It's a 440-watt RMS amp with a low profile. I've turned it down to half power, and these speakers are incredibly loud and clear. If I'm going 60 mph, I can only have the power turned all the way up. If it's over 70 mph, I'll slow it down. If anything changes, I'll update, but otherwise, this was a fantastic purchase. Installing it was a breeze, and it turned out beautifully!.
