Questions & Answers

Could you please tell me if this is just one speaker or both? What does it mean to have a ?

Each pair is sold separately.

How about the bass that comes with these speakers? Wouldn't it be nice to hear some decent bass with this music?

Full range speakers have bass, so yes, "they have bass", but you shouldn't expect them to perform like speakers that are specifically designed to reproduce it, like an amplified subwoofer. Although the speakers do have bass, it is definitely not what they are designed for.

In how many rooms does it have?

According to Pioneer's website, 60 rms are available

Could you tell me if I have to do something else to install these into my 2013 Jeep Wrangler?

Wires to connect your speakers should be already installed in your car unless they already exist. There should be no special software to install on the computer.

You must believe
5/5

Despite my audiophile snobbery, I still listen to classical music. My resistance towards Pioneer speakers when looking for replacement speakers for my truck stemmed from the fact that I was turned off by the price. My expectations were low, due to the price of both the 5x8s and the front doors being under 100 bucks. The last time I swapped audiophile speakers, I spent ridiculous amounts of money so I thought I would be better able to stretch my money in the future. My opinion is that these bargain speakers are superior when it comes to sound quality and sound stage. The sound quality of these speakers is excellent when paired with two 12-inch subwoofers. Comparing the pioneers to the infinity kappas they are replacing, I would offer the pioneers a slight edge. Hear it for yourself instead of believing what others say. Thanks a lot.

It sounds really good

You get the most bang for your buck here. My Subaru Forester '17 is equipped with these speakers to replace the aftermarket Blaupunkt speakers I had installed to replace the factory ones. There is a difference between night and day. In comparison to the Kicker speakers I installed in my friend's 2018 Subaru Crosstrek, this speaker is comparable, if not even better. There is an incredible amount of bass. I see no haze in the middle. Despite the highs, they aren't too bad. The speakers respond very well to the factory head unit. I use these with a Yamaha system. I am confident you will be happy with the result.

This is bad if you want to make noise
3/5

In conjunction with a Pioneer DEH-49X amplifier, I installed these speakers into the doors of my Nissan Pickup There are 150MP in the Considering I rarely drive the pickup and I don't turn the volume up very much, these were very good for the price.

However, they didn't last through the very first time I turned the volume up. I meant it when I said that It was the first time I turned the knob beyond 75% volume when the 150MP was at death's door. I will have to replace the speakers now that they buzz so loud every time the bass hits. In my opinion, it's probably worth it to spend a bit more on a good set of speakers if you want to go loud.

This is the opinion of a car audiophile

Upon purchasing a 1994 Ford Taurus, I was surprised at how bad the stock sound was. There were ripped paper speakers and blown speakers. These sound great! I upgraded to them and they sound even better! As surprised as HELL to hear from JL, JBL, EV, Bose, and Rockford Fosgate have been among the speakers I have used. We can definitely say that these three are at the top. I can't believe it's so loud! My HPF is on 125hz, so I can't tell you about the bass. However, I do have a 12" woofer. I love listening to great.

I just can't believe it
5/5

Wow! Using the Kicker 40CS654 Coxials (100W RMS) with my stock "premium" audio system head unit (2008 Civic Si), I was getting 100W RMS. I found it to be louder and clearer than stock speakers, but it didn't produce as much bass as the stock speakers. It has been a while since I bought the Pioneer TS-70 It was so loud and clear. I popped in the A1683S (50W RMS, very hard to find now) and dropped it in the rear deck. With less distortion, the bass was just as loud and punchy as with the stock speakers! It was at that point that I knew I had to buy one. A Pioneer amplifier also supplies 50w RMS. This seems like a perfect match for the Pioneer amplifier. If you have a Honda or Acura with the Pioneer premium audio, I would definitely recommend this to you.

At 62 years old, I have a lot of experience and knowledge. My parents put me through a lot of speakers when I was a child. Those are the ones I have on my Civic doors. Clear, crisp, and punchy (aftermarkets replaced by previous owner). After I put a piece of foam in front of the tweeter cone, I got great sound. The sound becomes better after a few weeks (a little too crisp), but it takes some time to break in. Almost as happy as I could possibly be. I'm so glad I found these.

I was more than satisfied with the service
5/5

The sound quality is outstanding for the price of the pair. In addition, I don't listen to rap or anything similar to it. It's not just the bass, I listen to Red Hot Chillie Peppers, Sublime, and others. The treble and mids are great, and the highs are clear as well. In case you are looking for a speaker set that can do it all, you've found The following are notes for your information Subwoofers do not fall into this category. In other words, the complaints and 2 star reviews were about the bass being terrible. You cannot expect that kind of performance from a *These speakers are excellent for the price. However, with headphones, the bass will distort if they are crank up your volume too loud.

In order to replace an extremely cheap pair of OEM speakers that actually did sound good, I purchased these speakers
3/5

We wasted money on these only to find out they weren't worth the investment. These you really did leave me with much higher hopes. In order to replace an extremely cheap pair of OEM speakers that actually did sound good, I purchased these speakers. It turns out I should have stuck with the OEM after spending so much money on these. It is somewhat confusing for me since I have purchased so many Pioneer products and have been so pleased with them that I wasn't quite prepared for how poorly they performed. The sound is actually quite good until you add a tiny bit of bass, at which point they start to distort.
