How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

Infinity's glass fiber woofer cones are lighter, stiffer, and have a larger conical area than their competitors, increasing the low-frequency output and increasing efficiency of the speaker.
Textile dome speakers - These are not normally used W-domes, but are edge-driven textile domes that will deliver smoother and broader
The output was high A low impedance voice coil paired with a 5 ohm ohm architecture provides the speaker with the ability to extract every single watt from the amplifier.
A small speaker like the Infinity has to go through a process that would wipe out a larger speaker like the Infinity. Rather than freeze them, bake them, shake them, blast them with ultraviolet light, and drive them for days on end at full power, Infinity freezes them.
As a leading car audio speaker manufacturer, Infinity provides reference-quality speakers, and Kappa car audio speakers are no different.

The fakes are junk

There was no sound coming from the speakers - They informed me the speakers I received were counterfeit! When I contacted Infinity, they confirmed that they were counterfeit! A big thank you to Amazon.

I had to put up with mediocre speakers and terrible It doesn't need an amp, works fine without one

There are better options for the same price. Stock is about as good as it gets. This is not a good idea Mid bass is already present. It's important to buy an amp if you want to get one. As soon as I install the amp, I'll update my review. This week's update It's a shame that the speakers were so bad. Even when the amplifier is added there is still a great deal of disappointment. The result is completely different from what I expected. The mid-1980s were still a time of great change Even though the bass went from a 2/10 to a 5/10, that is not enough to make up for the hideous sound of the They emit the harshest, brightest, and most hideous noise from their "silk domes". In spite of my head unit's treble being all the way down and MP3 player's EQ set to treble all the way down, the snare drum on hip-hop songs still sounds oppressive Even at very low volumes, hip-hop songs can make your ears BLEED. The only way to describe them is complete and total treble cannons. It's a sick joke that there is only one control on the built in crossover. It's a button that turns the tweeter volume up and down. I wouldn't recommend this in the least to anyone who doesn't take their breakfast with nails in their eardrums every morning. A waste There is only a faint chance that this review won't end up one star because they certainly do their rated power and can certainly get loud, just in the most absurd manner.

This is a great replacement for stock head units
5/5

This is by far the best aftermarket speaker you can buy, with very good highs and a huge improvement. The sound from this is great, even with an old head unit, and doesn't require a lot of power to sound good. This purchase has been good for me.

Before you buy, listen to what others have to say
4/5

A lot depends on your personal preference when it comes to speakers. Over the past thirty years, I have had Infinity speakers in my cars and have been very satisfied with them. switched cars recently, I needed new speakers, and never considered something else. It is possible that the car interior and how the speakers are mounted will affect how the speakers sound. However, I had noticed that these speakers have a different tone than my initial Infinity Kappa ones. There is more of a mid-range vibe to them It's a little more bass shy than I would have liked. And the impedance is very low. It is claimed that it is to get 'every watt from the amplifier', however, in my case it seems to be a difficult load achieving clipping sooner rather than later. As for the build, I expect this to last the life of the car, as it is as great as ever.

This product gives OEM speakers a great upgrade
5/5

As a direct replacement for the factory speakers that came with my 2018 Nissan Rogue SV, these speakers are perfect. As opposed to the speakers that were originally installed, the new speakers have far superior sound quality. My reason for not going through with a component system was that I didn't want to pay an installer or go through everything needed to install a component system, including running wires, installing a powered amplifier and accessing the stereo. "Shake the rafters bass" was not my cup of tea either. The OEM stereo that comes with the vehicle was simply not loud enough for me, so I wanted to upgrade the speakers. I didn't have to look any further these speakers were exactly what I wanted. The process of removing the door panels is explained in a lot of videos on the Internet. As it turns out, it wasn't as hard as I expected. My installation was pretty straightforward and I was lucky not to have to drill any holes. I installed the Infinity Primus Two way multi element in front and the Infinity Kappa full range in back with the additional 3DB turned on, and couldn't be happier with the results. Listening to techno, pop, and alternative music is more my style and I'm not a huge fan of The sound quality of the speakers is fantastic, and if you are interested in bass this is for you. As a first off, I was relieved to realize how much easier it was than I thought, and am very happy with the results. The mid-range tones are rich, the highs are crisp, and the bass is really noticeable without it appearing like the car is coming apart. Those speakers would be a great upgrade for your car's speakers if you're looking for new ones.

Installation in Chevy bolt

Front door speakers replaced with these Kappas. In the section with the tweeter, I used a +3 setting. On the top of the speaker, I did not use any foam. It's best to replace or disconnect the factory dash tweeters rather than leaving them in place. The sound is amazing all around since I replaced my Pioneer tweeter with a 7/8" model.

My 2008 street glide, clear and load now has this product installed in the batwing. Several Polk audio speakers were blown out, so they were replaced. Good sound is nice to have These come with a pair of 6x9s in the bags and a pair of AMPs.

A great sound with a crisp quality
5/5

I love the richness of the It's my second time installing these in the same car with the The bass is strong and the highs are good. There will be no regrets if you purchase them. When I pushed my first car, I put 400 watts of power into it. The stock radio is all there is this time. I am very impressed considering that it is a stock radio.
