I bought a 2006 Nissan Sentra with a Rockford Fosgate Premium 300 watt sound system from the factory. I replaced all of the speakers and added a 12" Skar SVR Subwoofer and a Rockville dB14 amp. When I replaced the factory-installed Rockford Fosgate CD-player, I was pleasantly surprised. What a difference it makes when you play with this Pioneer! The six aren't the only ones. The five Jensen coaxial speakers sound fantastic, but the subwoofer is far superior. The overall sound of the system is so dynamic and full of depth that it's incredible! After hours of searching and comparing receivers, I came across this older Pioneer model. This Pioneer device has so many features that it's hard to believe it's only $90. Pioneer deserves kudos for this receiver. The best-selling Pioneer digital receivers on Amazon don't have the same features and specs as this one, and they're also more expensive.
I just installed this radio in my 2003 Jeep TJ to replace a failing OEM unit, and make sure to use the correct dash-mounting bracket. Install kit for your vehicle, and use the wire harness kit to connect the pioneer's harness to your car's factory harness, as this radio is literally half the depth of an OEM unit. Make use of the antenna cable extension as well. We used the factory speakers to install this radio, which worked fine but sounded flat due to their low spec. ability, but then kicked out all four of them in favor of Kicker DS- series speakers and connected them to the factory wires with speaker wire adapters, and everything sounds great! This is a fantastic combination! , make sure you're using the appropriate components Take pleasure in your new audio system!.
My 1970 Bronco's shallow dash was a perfect fit for this part.
In my work van, I have a Pioneer, and in my truck, I have this one. So far, many audio features have stood out, particularly the crossover and high quality.
It's an excellent stereo.
For the price, it's impossible to beat.
You can connect multiple phones to it, which is convenient because whether I or my wife is driving, we can listen to the stereo, make calls, and so on; however, when both of us are in the car and I'm streaming music, it frequently stops because it can't figure out which phone to use. Even if she isn't streaming music, simply scrolling through Instagram is enough to cause it to become confused. According to the manual, if you want to fix the problem, you should not touch the other phone. Really? The only way to get around this is for me to tell her to turn off her Bluetooth every time we get in the car together. This is a truly baffling design!.
