Kenwood is a brand that you can always count on
5/5

The price is reasonable, and the functionality is satisfactory. There are numerous audio settings, and it sounds great without the use of an amplifier or other specialized audio equipment. The installation was straightforward, and it looks fantastic in my dashboard.

It's a fantastic stereo with a fantastic price tag
5/5

My daughter and I bought a 1999 Honda Accord LX. The car came equipped with an aftermarket stereo (Panasonic), but it performed poorly. I was hoping to get Bluetooth as part of the upgrade. This Kenwood audio system is fantastic. As I previously stated, the car came equipped with an aftermarket stereo. All I had to do was unplug the old one, remove the Panasonic's already spliced wires, twist and tape the new Kenwood wire tails, and plug in the new stereo. It's fantastic! I'm very happy with it. The stereo was a breeze to pair with our I-pod. Phones. We can listen to our podcasts and listen to music in the car at any time. This is a fantastic deal that I highly recommend.

Maximum volume is not very good
3/5

FIRMWARE SHOULD NOT BE UPDATED! This radio was purchased to replace the one in my Jeep Wrangler from 2001. One of the selling points was the Bluetooth and hands-free feature. What you pay for is exactly what you get. The radio is barely audible over the wind, even with the Hardtop on and the windows open. There's even a new 6" co-op available. Kenwood speakers that are arranged in an axial pattern. The display looks great at any time of day or night. There are a lot of options (almost too many). To return to FM or Bluetooth, you must use the button selector. Many reviewers have stated that Bluetooth connection was not an issue. Despite the fact that it does not lock by itself, Bluetooth is turned on. Every time you turn on the key, you must reset it. br>Even with the proper Kenwood to Jeep harness, the subwoofer output would never work. Warning - The firmware update should not be performed. Even if it's under warranty, the radio will freeze, and you'll have to send it back on your own dime for repair.

For any setup, this is a great radio receiver
5/5

Today is the first time I've ever received something like this. As soon as I received it, I immediately installed it. I already had an aftermarket radio in my car, so I figured the serial connector would work because the pins are the same. out. The new one's plastic housing was slightly larger than usual, but splicing the new wire harness to my existing one was simple. The sound quality is noticeably superior to anything I've previously experienced, and the face is extremely attractive!.

This is a fantastic program
5/5

I just had this installed in my 2002 Acura TL today, and I'm very pleased with the price I paid so far! A couple of minor points that I believe are easily overlooked. One, this does not include a mounting kit, so if your car has a double din setup (the original system takes up more space than this small rectangular system), as mine does, you may need to purchase a single din mounting kit that fits your car separately. They cost around $20 and allow for a clean installation of your new stereo while also providing a small amount of space beneath for your phone, remote, and other small items. Second, if your car's sound system is outdated or not great to begin with, this stereo system may not be able to completely transform it. I like the functionality of this device and the bluetooth access it gives me to my sound system in my 18-year-old car, but the sound hasn't improved all that much in my opinion, unless I'm missing something with the setup. Finally, if you are not skilled at tampering with your vehicle, you will be charged between $80-$100. It will cost you $100 to have this installed in your vehicle. If you want to connect the steering wheel volume controls to the Kenwood as well, make sure to discuss it with the technician who will be doing the installation. If you don't say anything, they usually won't bother to hook it up. Overall, this is a fantastic product, especially for people like me who have an old car with an out-of-date stereo and want to connect to it via bluetooth, USB, or Aux.

The radio is in good working order, and the connections are excellent
3/5

I previously wrote a review, but the aux input became defective within a week, and music now only plays on one side of the car regardless of which aux cable I use. The radio works fine, and the connections are secure, but the AUX input is clearly broken. I also tried several different devices, and I can assure you that the input jack is broken; it's just a pain that such an important feature isn't working. This entire process will have to be redone.

For a low-cost unit, it's not bad
3/5

Not bad, BT appears to be working properly and reconnects every time I get into the car. The remote app is kind of useless in my opinion because it just gives you the same stuff on the head unit. I was hoping it would have the EQ settings on it but it doesn't. Also, half the time I try to launch it, it says it's too old and needs to be updated or redone. However, the unit itself is fine for the price point and I'll probably upgrade when I do speakers down the road.

That sounds fantastic
5/5

The unit's depth is six inches. 22" is ideal for small spaces, such as the interior of a 1994 S10 Blazer. The depth of this Kenwood was the sole reason I purchased it. 22". A CD player was something I was looking for. The depth of the original Delco unit is a little more than 5". So it sticks out a little, but I didn't want to cut into the back of the space's air duct. If you don't want a CD, there are other units with a shallow depth of around 5" that don't have one. br>br>This Kenwood is fantastic! It's better than I expected, and it syncs and sounds great on my iPhone. There are a ton of great pre-programmed EQ settings, and you can even tailor the sound to the size of your rig's speakers! Nice!.
