Although it does not have a switch, it can be programmed to become brighter or darker at certain times of the day.
That feature was available on an older model I bought several years ago, but I'm not sure if it is available on this one. You'd have to go into the menu and scroll to color, where there are about 32 preset colors, or you could go to day/night and display/button colors and customize each one by setting the strength of red, green, and blue 32 levels of each color, giving you unlimited color customization. You could also choose color flow, which would keep changing while it was turned on. Slowly fades/changes through all of the various shades.
If your Ford's stereo is a double din, you'll need a kit to convert it to a single din. I'd suggest purchasing a kit that plugs into the factory wiring harness.
You can choose to have it set automatically or manually.

This deck was purchased as a replacement for a JVC that I had owned for 13 years and had never let me down, except for the fact that it was not Bluetooth capable! The difference in sound quality astounded me. There are a lot of settings to change the sound quality based on speaker size and other factors, but when I plug my iPhone SE into the USB port, it says it's incompatible? It'll charge it, but that's all there is to it. Troubleshooting suggests looking at the list to see if my phone is compatible, which it is. This isn't a big deal for me because I can still use Bluetooth and Pandora, and I can still receive calls, but I had to set up Siri shortcuts to change Pandora stations instead of using the deck. Also, as stated in other reviews, if I'm holding my phone in the driver's seat, the Bluetooth will start to skip. If I move the phone closer and then bring it back, the problem will be resolved. When I'm driving, I keep my phone on the dash and it works fine; the microphone appears to be excellent, and people can even hear my child in the backseat. So, for the price, it meets my needs, but I had high expectations from JVC!.
EXACTLY what I was looking for. It was simple to install, and having Bluetooth on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport is fantastic. The microphone is a little unusual; I'll have to remove some trim from under my wheel and wire it in some way. It would be nice if the microphone was integrated into the unit. It's a long wire that hooks into the back and has a sticker underneath the actual mic part to mount wherever you want in the carbr>br>Can't seem to figure out how to get my friends to connect to my bluetooth at the same time because I know you can't have multiple people connected at the same time. I tried turning off my phone and letting them be the only one on the network. Overall, I'm 10 times happier than I was with the previous owner's installation. br>br>I also like how it displays the current song as well as the artist.
Where we live, the law has recently changed to make it illegal to use a phone while driving unless it is a hands-free device. free. This radio upgraded our older car, allowing us to take calls safely (and legally), and it also allows me to listen to Pandora while driving, which is a big win!.
Lol. My top priority was Bluetooth. This radio, on the other hand, is intelligent, loud, crisp, and powerful. It was professionally installed, along with all new speakers, and it works perfectly with my 1ohm subs. It's hard to beat the price, and if you're looking to upgrade on a budget, this is it.
I bought one to replace the OEM 2. Our 1998 Ford Ranger XLT came equipped with a 0 din stereo. It's a nice upgrade that's simple to set up. I was only looking for a way to keep my hands free. Everything else is just icing on the cake. br>br>I really liked it. I purchased a replacement for our 2007 Winnebago Journey. Again, I'm hoping for a hands-free option. The sound quality, on the other hand, is excellent through our 5. The sound system in one room is incredible! The CD player and Sirius XM through the aux in are particularly impressive. br>br>And it's only $89! br>br>Agree on a learning curve with other reviewers. But, with all of these features on a 1, what do you expect? chassis (zero din) Each button, of course, has a variety of uses. Nowadays, loading the dryer necessitates an IT background.
DO IT. I wanted to connect my 2008 Jeep Wrangler to Bluetooth, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money or sacrifice sound quality. IT WAS AWESOME. This JVC is inexpensive and has excellent sound. Because my Jeep has the infinity system, I had to pay $200 for it to be installed, but it was well worth it. When I need to, I simply pop the face off and throw it in my glove box. The only thing I'd change is the size of the source button in the middle, which gets in the way when you're flipping through preset radio stations while driving, but I don't listen to the radio very often, so it's not a big deal to me. I didn't get a remote, but that's okay because I'd never use one while driving.
It connects to my son's Android phone rather than an Apple iPhone.
To begin, let me state that this stereo is fantastic. It includes all of the features I was looking for in a new stereo system. I was swapping out the stereo in a 2008 Crown Vic Police Edition. It came equipped with a basic factory stereo that sounded terrible. I didn't want to spend a lot of money because it's an older cop car with a lot of miles on it. I chose this stereo after doing some research, and I'm very happy with it. It was simple to install, though I may have gone a little overboard by soldering all the connections and using heat shrink, then taping the wire bundle together to keep it out of the way. I'm no expert when it comes to installing a stereo, but it only took me an hour in total. Except for one thing, I would have given this product a solid 5 star rating. The instructions for programming the options do not seem to be very clear to me. Setting the color, as well as a few other options, was a nightmare for me. I would have given five stars if the instructions had been a little clearer. My car's audio quality has improved by a factor of 20. New speakers are going to be my next project. However, if you're looking for a great stereo at a great price, this is the one to get. I hope this information is useful to anyone in the market for a stereo system. Last but not least, a word on the vendor. I had a great time doing business with this individual. Thank you for a wonderful experience and lightning fast shipping.
