With a CMC machined ccfinecut aluminum mount, I mount my GoPro on the front of my recumbent racing bike. Around 6 weeks after the camera was purchased, one of the bottom mounting fins on the frame snapped off and the camera stopped working. Some of the problem may have to do with the difficulty of tightening the mount enough to prevent the camera from tilting forward when I hit a dip, which makes it necessary to readjust the camera until I reach the appropriate angle. After I stripped the old one, I found that this replacement piece had broken when I was testing its tightness. As a substitute, I use the Luxebell Aluminium Skeleton (available from Amazon), which is a little heavier, but does not break easily.
