The insta360 is the way to go. Gopro launched this camera despite the fact that it is a terrible product in nearly every aspect, very buggy. I think it wasn't ready for production, but they launched it nonetheless. My videos will not download to my phone, or to another one. If it turns off at any time with a different battery, it does so as well. Despite repeated requests to update the firmware, there is no way to do so.

The quality of the video is poor compared to other action cameras. Go for the insta360 one x instead. In every spec you compare it to, it is superior.
