There is no way I had the chance to test its battery life, so my review might not be complete in this respect. All items were packed and looked new when package was received, so there are no complaints, however the unit itself has completely disappointed me. It felt like the screen was unresponsive when it arrived. I figured it might be due to the low battery and decided to trim the settings with the battery. It seems that the battery drained too quickly when I re booted it and I then tried to make another video but basically every second attempt, the camera would freeze, the screen wasn't responsive to touch, and the battery wasn't recharged. For the past 4 days, the same issue was occurring and I decided to just return it, as the issue clearly indicates some type of malfunction.

As I type, it begins to freeze. If I want to take a picture of an Oregon forest or a camping trip, I have to shut the camera off and restart it after taking a few photos. This is a real problem when you are outside camping or exploring the forest. Considering that it costs 200 dollars, I'm starting to be disappointed. If you want to look elsewhere, you may want to consider that.

My job as a diver led me to want a gopro to record my underwater adventures, while the quality of the pictures is amazing, the lack of settings is disappointing for the price, so I returned it for the black version that gave me the control I was looking for. Another disappointing aspect of this model is that the lens cannot be changed, which again is quite pricey.

There was a problem using this. If you use the camera app, then it locks up and you have to hard reset it. As a result, there are a lot of problems with the app. The button does not seem intuitive, and the app only connects 50% of the time. On startup, the app acted differently. It was sometimes necessary to exit the application completely once it started recoding in order to stop it. There were so many times when it wouldn't I find it difficult to figure out what to do with it. Helmet-mounted, it was equipped with a camera. Having this control was crucial.
