Rather than shipping videos at 120fps, dji is shipping 60fps devices to customers, according to YouTube reviews of osmo pocket. Would you mind confirming?

There was another DJI update released at the end of January 2019 and it improved many of the features of the Osmo Pocket. It is no longer necessary to connect your Osmo to a cell phone to use the PRO mode. It can be done directly from your As well as improving audio, they also improved focusing.

Cameras cannot be used at all unless invasive permissions are granted
3/5

Unless you install the DJI Mimo app in order to operate the Osmo, it cannot operate. You have to create an account with Mimo and upload phone data to their server during the 'activation' process in order to use the app. Mimo's app claims to demand location information (both on Android and iOS) and will not run until you comply. Privacy is violated in this way, which is completely unacceptable. My purchase of the camera was a good one. My device should be able to be used without me having to "activate" it An activation can be a privacy nightmare, especially when it involves a lot of information.

I did not know it would require a micro USB connection and had to be registered when I ordered for Christmas
3/5

I'm not certain why my original review was deleted because if you request a refund, you will be losing $100. It was ordered for Christmas, but I learned once I received it that it could not be used with a micro USB phone (they didn't advertise it at the time, and they updated it mid January) and that the device had to be registered. When I contacted DJI support, I was told that there was nothing they could do. My phone was not compatible with it, so I was able to fix it a few days later, but I found that it limited many of the features and usability of the program. The product was returned for a refund and I was able to receive a $200 refund instead of the $350 I paid. I was able to get an additional $50 refund after contacting customer support. The original Osmo was my favorite device and I always had my eye on one, but this was The registration process before you can even use it makes no sense to me. If they are charging money, then they should confirm that the system works.

It is important to have a good gimbal Although it needs some basic updates and features, the camera combo is still not complete
3/5

Despite its good features and some FW and app bugs, the DJI Spark lacks some basic features, it seems like DJI rushed into releasing the product in time for the holiday shopping season. In this article, I share my personal views as an honest commoner for the benefit of the larger amazon community. They are not influenced by any company, individual, or political party. What would you like DJI to improve or keep in mind This is *br1. -Shoots brilliant 4K at up to 60 fps (in PRO Mode). -Multiple frame rates are available from 24 to 60fps. -Two frame rates are available. It has a good tracking and follow mode, crisp video and good detection range, but is not able to use the follow mode in 4K 60FPS (maybe a firmware update would fix it). 1. 2. 3. Connecting the MIMO app to the phone synchronizes photos, videos, and other media with the built-in You may disable this option (provide an option to do so). The camera does not have a zoom capability (no digital zoom), and DJI is expected to add it to future firmware updates. The five-point plan. A FW fix is necessary to make it possible to shoot 4K at 60 fps (again)

6. There is no wide Pano (beyond 3x3), maybe 6x3, 9x3, etc. That is the maximum amount of panning allowed by the camera. * * *7. It is not possible to switch between camera modes without exiting the PRO settings (if not connected to A simple exit from the PRO resets all camera quality settings (this is probably due to a firmware issue, which DJI must address as soon as possible). Since the product only comes with an iPhone connector and a USB Type C, folks who have older devices won't be able to use it. This also means it can't be activated (the Osmo pocket must be connected to a phone to activate). It would be great if you could tell me how much it would cost to include the 2nd Gen type of USB If DJI puts it in v2, then it should be a serious consideration. There will be no new hardware available and current buyers will have an option to buy 0 of the hardware. 10. *br*br*9. In 4k / 60p video mode with manual settings, there is no way to lower the shutter below 1/60, and in 4k / 24p you can only lower the shutter to less than There is a limitation when filming in an indoor environment when the settings are manually adjusted. The number 10. In order to ensure a high quality image, AUTO settings during indoor photo shoots always set the ISO to 1600 or 3200 which results in super grainy (noisier) pictures. In the case of cameras with the option to fix the apperature setting, I believe it is not necessary to use ISO at that high level. (Image quality needs some tweaking and fixing). 1.

We would appreciate if DJI included an option to select shutter / aperture priority, along with manual and auto. There is less of a need for a FW fix, but it would be off convenience for *In a few weeks I will update this review once DJI has provided me with updates and responses. Moreover, I should be on a Cruise next week and hope that it will be a good opportunity to test this thing out in real life. So at the present time, it still doesn't replace my Hero 7 Black and it still needs a bit of refinement.

Until they can ensure that it actually works, stay away
3/5

Apparently, DJI is happy to release a beta product. Nobody can track anything, the subject is lost all the time. The movement is jerky. The direction of the projector ends up being random. In the end, the interface on DJI is as unintuitive as Apple's. Hardware of excellent quality. That's the case for the most part. There are some bugs in your software.

I think DJI OSmos Pocket is a great idea, but an expensive headache to deal with
3/5

My initial reaction was to say "oh my god, this is cool!" when I first saw the Osmos Pocket. The go pro 7 is not for me I am buying this instead. As soon as I received my Osmos Pocket on December 15, I began to experience headaches. My phone has a micro usb port, but the OSMOS has a type-C port, so I opened it up and it connected to my micro usb port C port? How on earth did I slip this one by? I am annoyed, but I am not going to lose my cool. You don't have to worry, I'll make it happen. I went to the Dji website in order to order their wireless base, but it was all sold out! You can find it at Amazon for $109. I am not going to pay $109, since the price is about $70 on their website. You can order an adapter from Typc- You can connect micro USB with it. I received the adapter after spending $7 dollars. I'm hopeful that this will work out. I was wrong again! The link does not work. This software does not load automatically, and no sign of a successful activation has been seen. Currently, I see only the following message on the Osmos Pocket app This feature is not enabled. I FUDGE THEE! It's been a while since I've used a microSD card. Yesterday my card came, I put it into the slot, BUT it keeps popping out. AFTER 6 DAYS AND HOURS OF FRUSTRATED WORK, THE DJI OSMOS WERE SENT BACK! WE WERE GOING ON VACATION SO THEY WERE GOING TO BE ALREADY ON THEIR WAY! VERY disappointed with the outcome. This is going to be a GoPro 7 experience.
