Questions & Answers
Make certain you're connecting the right pieces. A hole should be drilled into both ends so that the screw can be inserted.
Your camera is not connected to the lights. Set them up, connect them to the power source, and turn them on. As if it were a table lamp.
The creases will have no effect on any projects you're working on, though I do think they look better without them. But it gets the job done!
It should be fine with the lights. They don't have a lot of oomph.

For the money, this system is a fantastic deal. I purchased two kits because they were so good. This provides me with a great deal of flexibility as well as all of the high-quality light that I require. I replaced the bulbs with 5000K bulbs and purchased a few booms, but the value of this system is unbeatable.
Everything you'll need to get started is right here. To be honest, I'm a little surprised that you get everything you need for such a low price. I bought this set to make training videos, but as soon as I got it, a friend told me she was running for public office and asked if I could help her shoot a video of herself standing in front of city hall. Rather than erecting a slew of equipment in front of city hall and contending with the noise generated by passing traffic, passers-by I chose the green screen option because of, etc. I started by filming ten minutes of live video at city hall. As a result, I was able to match the light angles I needed. Then I videotaped her with the green screen while setting up the lights in the studio to match the light angles, brightness, and other factors. Her video appeared to be shot live in front of city hall, with city hall serving as the backdrop. We even used ambient background noise to give the impression that it was shot live. br>br>LIKES: br> Everything you'll require. For the price, it's unbelieveable. br> Includes two white, one silver, and one gold-plated items. Has three different backdrops - tone umbrellas, tone umbrellas, and tone umbrellas, tone umbrellas, tone umbrellas, and tone umbrellas, tone umbrella green, white, and blue DISLIKES: Does not come with a tote bag to carry everything to a location. br>br>
- The gear isn't particularly durable. This is something I'd recommend for studio use where you can set it up and forget about it. Consider something more durable if you'll be moving your equipment around a lot. Unless you're extra careful when it comes to set-up and tear-down.
- The stands that support the green screen do not reach a height that allows an adult to stand in front of it. If you're shooting children or sitting down, the height is fine, but if you want to stand in front of it to make a video or do a standing photo shoot, you'll need to find a way to raise it. I went to Lowe's and purchased a length of sturdy 1/2" PVC, cut it to the length I needed to achieve the desired height, and then drilled holes in the ends to keep the crossbar secure. That was the final straw. The total cost was less than $2.
- Sandbags will most likely be required to keep your lights in place. I'm using it in a home studio and I'm not moving any of the equipment around. I didn't need anything particularly long-lasting or professional-looking for this location. I made a few sandbags by stacking 6 - 8 - 8 - 8 - 8 - 8 - 8 - 8 - 8 7 lbs. sand, tied shut in plastic shopping bags, then double/triple bagged They form fit to the light stand base brackets because they're made of sand, and the light stands stay put. That was a quick and inexpensive fix, but anything with some weight should suffice. I'm not a professional photographer, as I previously stated. I just want to record training videos in my home studio, add a background of my choice, and send them to clients. This set has everything I need (except the sandbags) for my needs, and it's a great value. The price-to-value ratio is fantastic. It is strongly suggested.
Great value for the money; it's a complete set for filming and photography, though it takes a lot of space to set up. Ironing wrinkles at a low temperature is a simple way to get rid of them.
Everything about it appeals to me, with the exception of the backdrop material. That is all there is to it. In a literal sense. It irritates the touch, wrinkles easily, and rips quickly. Consider a common countertop rag, and voila. It snagged on the top of the stand's screw and ripped off a chunk. Annoying. The lighting is adequate and bright. br>br> Lamps and diffusers work well together. But, as they say, you get what you pay for. This is a great place to start. I am confident that you will eventually get a better one. It gets the job done, and you'll be happy with the price.
This is utter nonsense. Wrinkles are all that exists. Even in the dryer, I'm unable to remove them. The color of the lighting is also terrible. You'd be better off with the sun or some Wal-Mart bulbs. This hunk of junk isn't worth buying, Mart. The packaging was excellent, but that is the only positive aspect of this product. Simply create your own system from the ground up. It took me about a month to try it out, otherwise I would have just returned it, but now I don't have anything to pack it back in. Really. Make your own kit by putting it together.
The lighting is excellent and bright. The bag that came with the equipment was the only thing that bothered me. It's clear that it wasn't brand new and had been used. Apart from that, this is about the best bang for your buck you'll ever find. The mats are also of low quality, but if you look after them, you will not be disappointed. When I say low quality, I'm referring to the fact that if not properly cared for, they can be easily damaged. I was able to stream using my green screen, which was fantastic right away. I can't recommend this highly enough as a first-time starter pack for beginners. At first, I was skeptical, but believe me when I say that this works.
The lights are quite bright, and they completely transform every photograph! Although the construction material could be better, it is not bad. Is it going to last? Probably not, but this kit should last at least as long as "long enough to pay for itself" and possibly longer. The crinkles in the fabric were a source of concern in the reviews. While this is correct, keep in mind that many photographers edit their work. Having said that, the crinkles can be easily removed from photos during editing, and they can probably be removed from the fabric itself with a steam gun or something. Just don't try to do so and melt the fabric. br>br>My recommendation is that the fabric be sent in rolls. Is this a kit that I would recommend? Yes, especially for those who are new to the game.
The directions were haphazardly included, making assembly a pain. This set comes with a bag that is "portable" and "easy" to transport. This isn't possible in this case due to the low quality of the kit. This kit is ideal for online sellers who want to set up shop in a corner of their home and never have to move it. I was worried about tipping because the cross bars started to slant as soon as I put them up. This kit would be ruined in a matter of weeks if it was constantly unpacked and repacked. For me, this is a stationary photo center, so the quality may be a little low. I wouldn't keep it if I didn't have any plans for it.
