In short, yes. A third of an inch is narrower on the top of the cage than on the bottom. As a result, the screen can be fully opened.
If you have an adaptor with a cage attached to the front, the adaptor should fit because the cage does not extend over into the camera mount. The cage holds the camera up and offers tripod mounting holes about 10 mm below the original camera base, thus helping if anything because it lifts the camera up. The adaptor plate or lens can extend more below the original camera lens attachment, thus increasing the distance for an adapter plate or lens. I wish you the best of

6000+ series SmallRig cages fit perfectly. The cages have a small screw mount for connecting the camera to the carry strap eyelet so that the camera will not pivot on the single tripod screw mount at It has a roomier cage around the camera (which may or may not be a good thing) and there is no anti-tilt mechanism This pivot mount helps stabilize the truck. Although this camera is built to SmallRig standards overall, it does not offer the same level of fit and stability as the newer cameras that incorporate similar SmallRig cages.
It is as sturdy as all hell and I've never had to take it off. My camera has been bumped a few times and the SmallRig has protected me each time. It is also great for attaching to bags and backpacks.
This cage is what I use for my camera at work every day. Provides a barrier of protection for the body. However, I would rather have the protection than add weight to my setup. It also added height to me, which I needed.
I am very happy with this purchase- Having an actual lens on my camera makes me appreciate it even more, and the gear on top is less freaky. I don't know There is a certain heft to it as well as a nice form factor. Though I mostly use my camera to stream videos.
However, as well. This is amazing and I love it in every way, the only thing I wish was that it was a bit more snug, the camera can still kind of shift on the mounting point slightly.
The case fits my Sony 5100 perfectly. I found the fit to be great and the utility was great. The entire chassis is made of aluminium, so it's strong and durable.
A cage like this gives the camera a lot better grip, and it also adds some protection in case it falls.
and gives you a cold shoe mount that's not included with the 51 series. You can also mount a lot of accessories using the mounting points provided.
