The quality of the handles I bought was truly amazing. I used them to build a shoulder rig for a BMPCC4K. The tilta UH-80 is what I normally use These are just as durable as the T03 handgrips at a third of the cost!
I had previously thrown an old set of newer handles on the BMPCC4K and these make a world of difference to the weapon. On a regular basis, I will hold the 10-minute meeting We managed to handle a 15lbs camera rig with a single handle and we didn't feel the rig In general, if you can avoid it, you do not want to go cheaper than these. Making things harder for yourself and putting your gear at risk will only make things worse. It is the only downside that there are no 1/4-20 mounting holes on the rosette extenders, but that is not enough to deduct a star. Additionally, please make sure that the nuts that control the tension on the quick release clasps are tightened down. do not want the handles to fall off of the frame, which could cause the entire rig to collapse. Having undone the clasps, I hand tightened the screws until they could not move any more, and they have not moved As a result, the handles are only about a little harder to remove, but the peace of mind is definitely worth it. The pistol grips above are your best bet unless you are willing to spend more than $500. It is not possible to find a better deal.
Coming from an older shoulder rig where the handles were not as adjustable and a lot shorter than these grips, which were considerably more challenging to use, I believe this to be the best solution available.
The designs of my DSLR rig had always been inconsistent, and I never quite found what I was looking for in terms of stability and versatility. There were a lot of things we liked about this handle set It has a rigid feel that does not slip, and many configuration options are available to position the handles. This is a rugged, solid piece of hardware that doesn't feel at all fragile. It is an excellent value, and I would recommend it.
