Although the rest of the design (the cheese plate surfaces slope down both front and back) is just too good to ignore, it actually makes for an ergonomic rig if done well. There is just one thing I really, really wish the pad was better, a multi-touch pad The shoulder mount of Smallrig has a segmented gel pad. Unfortunately, the hole pattern was not that good as well, and I had to use bolts with NUTS to mount my QR base where I really wanted it, since the holes that were exactly where I needed them were not threaded. I guess I won't bother.
A number of screws are secured on the back of the mount. It is super comfortable. By placing it on the rails backwards, it allows the pad to meet the front of my shoulder on a wider surface area. Bringing my elbows in allows me to have more stability when this pressure is applied. This is a great game. Smallrig is cool to me.
This is a sturdy and versatile design. The strap was a bit tight on my rails, but it worked fine. The battery pack and counter I use are each connected to a battery Weights have been added to my shoulder rig to balance it, and the result is fantastic.
As a comparison to the smallrig, I think the shoulder pad is actually better, and almost half as much. It provides more mounting options, and with its curvature it's both comfortable and.
Lots of things you can tweak to make your shoulder rig perfect.
As expected, it works well, and is a useful accessory to add to rig when you need to go mobile. It is inexpensive, but doesn't Despite what you might think now, you may be surprised at how much you will actually.
I think it is great for the price. I like it a lot.
It is designed in such a way as to suit my needs. I'm not in love with this shoulder pad, but it's functional. There are quite a few uncomfortable aspects of it. The design of the padding is such that I have two knobs that poke my neck when I shoot and the actual padding is somewhat uncomfortable. In addition, the shoulder pad does not have mounting holes at the ends to attach a battery pack or weights.
