The idea I had going into the market was to find a great shoulder rig that would be less than $300, and the one I just found is perfect for that. Although there are some downsides, it's certainly not perfect, and when it comes to camera equipment, you certainly get what you pay for. Despite the short distance, there was no delay in shipping, which arrived in less than a week from India. It was during assembling the rig that I had some minor issues, as some of the metal rods would not easily slide into the plastic brackets, most likely due to issues with the molds. The thing looked very professional once I had it all together, and I was excited to slot in my camera once I was done. Please keep in mind that this rig is quite a bit larger than it appears in the photographs, and if you have a micro four-channel microphone, it will be too big for this rig When a thirds camera such as mine is inside a rig, it will seem tiny. It will also be difficult to get the lens through the matte box without being able to see it in the unzoomed picture. When I picked up the rig or balanced it on a tripod, I noticed that it had an a little "flex" to it, due to the heavy counterweight (great for stabilizing, however), so I would be careful not to be too rough. The counterweight was removed from the tripod when I used it. The best setup at this price point overall is the one from this company.
