Questions & Answers

Is there a maximum weight capacity for the Mount?

The weight of mine is currently around 5 lbs., but I haven't tested it. A condenser mic on a little boom is the gear. It's only when it goes over 10 that I start to worry Weighs a little over 15 pounds. Keeping that in mind, the case is designed to hold cameras that weigh less than 10 pounds, like DSLRs. The rubber end of the rubber tube has a screw hole tapped into it so I can hang things. I am using a gigantic zoom lens, which of course needs its own support. Please accept my apologies for not being able to assist you more.

How safe would this clamp be on a motorcycle with a dlsr? Are you able to crank it all the way tight to prevent ?

It wouldn't be a good idea for me. There should be a version of the clamp meant to clamp to a pipe. Also, if it were taking every bump from the road attached to your motorcycle, I'd be worried for the health of my camera. A buddy can either hold a camera safely behind you, or a GoPro can be used instead. There are no swaying movements for the clamp, which makes it much lighter.

The center of the universe consists of On a flat edge parallel to the screw, how far is the center distance between two threaded 1/4" (A) holes?

There's just a little bit of a gap of about I'd guess 11/16 along with or without a fraction.

Are you able to put a mini projector on this stand?

In short, yes. The clamp can support the weight of the mini projector, but I do not know how you will attach them to each other.

There is more to it than meets the eye
3/5

Additionally, a better version of this clamp will be available for a reduced price. A pipe clamp is much better than a desk clamp, I think. There's something about the design that draws me in. As a specific example, here are two (2) its value would be greatly increased if it included a male 1/4"-sized nut. This piece is made of 20 threads. Almost everything I wanted to mount with this clamp required an adapter with a male thread, as does the clamp itself. You won't be able to use this clamp if you don't already own the piece. (3) Analysis of the T This handle makes it difficult to clamp under tight areas like under desk clamps. In irony, the same company offers the same product without the T An adapter for 1/4-inch threads is attached to the handle. Save money by doing it yourself! Instead of that one, I would have preferred to purchase that one. You can purchase this item from Amazon by using the Compared to the one we have now, that one is much more versatile and costs less.

There is no centering on the round tube with threaded holes, and the foot wobbles V makes a bad fit
3/5

Despite the threaded holes being sloppy, the bolts still hold well. As the tension bolt is drilled and threaded off center, the V notch in the clamp is not useful for clamping a tube, since it is drilled and threaded off-center Since the metal foot is loose, when you tighten the clamp the clamp walks to one side. If you buy good products with excellent functionality, you don't mind paying a bit more. However, this clamp fails in this regard. It cost me upfront to return for a refund because I had to pay for return shipping. Neither of us are thrilled about that. This clamp seems like it should be good for the job, but it has way too wide a tolerance.

You are solid! There is a lot of metal in this clamp
5/5

With the "T" handle, I find it easier to apply pressure, because it gives a better grip and torque. Despite being presented in plenty of locations, each screw hole can be used for a variety of In my case, I had to modify it. On top and at the bottom of the clamp, there are no screw holes. It is so small that I brought it to a machine shop to have the hole drilled and tapped. I had no problems with it at all. A 1/4"-inch drill bit is what I use to drill To fit the 20 Male to the 5/8" The 27 Male Microphone screw adapter fits in the newly tapped hole and is hung from a shelf above my desk to support a mic boom and a condenser mic. My guess is that it weighs about 5 pounds. My face is held in place really well by this just above my head. Furthermore, thanks to this setup, I can also use it as a mic stand and clamp it to a desk upside down.

It would be nice if the thread sizes matched on the handle
3/5

It is great to have a "C" part on the clamp I had hoped that it would be as good as it is. The material is of good quality and there are many 1/4" screw positions on the board. As far as the handle is concerned, it is also of excellent There is no pattern on it, and the threads on the screw are different from the set screws. In shipping, one of the small set screws fell out, and the other does not stay firmly in place. There's a slight mismatch between the threads of the handle and the larger screw, which causes the handle not to sit flat on it. My bet is that this isn't going to last for very long and I won't attach this to anything without a set of vicegrips or pliers.

Mount clamp for cameras that is sturdy and very convenient
5/5

I found the software to be very useful. It was used to mount to a 1-inch diameter tube The handrail is 1/2" square to support a camera recording machine to test it. For mounting the camera on the ball mount, I purchased a "Sioti" brand. It worked well the first time, so I bought an extra clamp to use on another set. A rubber coating is on the clamp feet to facilitate grip, and there is a v-notch on one side to assist in clamping round tubes. To get it tight, it was very useful to have the larger handle. Despite the vibration of the equipment I had the clamp mounted to, it stayed tight the entire.

as good as it gets
3/5

Despite the good quality of the aluminum bits, the pockets for the screws are poorly machined. It is a low-profile adjusting screw that is undersized This is a quality part, and it should be either 5/16 or smaller. I'm so close to seeing you. The clamp is still far from being an excellent one.

This is a solid product but could be improved by some reworking
4/5

This clamp is of good quality. Sadly, the bracket for the red handle is attached with only a set screw, which is insufficient to hold it in place. This is what it looks like. I scratched a flat spot and it now.

The clamp is well built and sturdy
5/5

With a metal foot and a rubber cap on top, the clamp consists entirely of metal. When the rubber cap is removed, a spiked foot is exposed that provides additional traction. On the arm is another rubber cap that protects the surface. A flat surface can be gripped well with this gripper.
