You asked a good question. Thank you. Signals do travel through walls, but depending on how many obstacles you may have in your home and whether you have a concrete wall or Sheetrock can affect the data transmission. I am grateful to Elite Techtronics for their contribution to the industry

Despite the fact that the product itself is fairly good, the app has not worked for years, making It is not a system that can be viewed remotely, and I wouldn't recommend it to someone looking for one.
FINALLY being able to reach tech support, they informed us that the motion clips would not be available for 24 hours. I want to be able to see motion right away when I receive a notification that there is motion! Cameras have been packed up, and they are on their way back!.
It is easy to install (no wires required). Although I was able to get the 4 cameras to work, it didn't seem like there was a DVR unit next to it, so I couldn't get their signal. In order to improve the reception of the camera from a great distance, a wifi antenna extender was required. There were no clear instructions in the manual explaining this limitation. It seems that the range is applicable when you are in an open space with no obstacles.
The receiver keeps dropping the signal, there are no major walls, and it is a 4-bedroom house. What the store does not tell you is that the receiver needs a separate antenna for each camera. The customer support department is a disaster as well, resulting in the whole system being returned.
Even though the NO box comes with an incredibly primitive interface, it works fine, and we are able to set up and recognize our cameras with ease. -

There is no problem with home access to the NO box. When directly accessing the box, the programs record "events" and play them back using its primitive interface. App allows real-time views and control of cameras and usually connects to the box - it usually provides decent access and monitoring from all the cameras together or separately. It works most of the time, except when it doesn't. There is a definite end to it all. The second part is as follows This is a huge problem with the recording app and remote access to recorded events. In nearly all instances, it is impossible to watch or download recorded videos remotely. Whenever that happens, you are left with these bizarre choppy video segments, which are usually enough to drive you short, the NO really does not allow remote access to recorded video events, which renders it totally useless! If you want to check any real time alert and its recording or review it on your mobile device in the home, it is the same tortured useless process as if you were simply using the mobile app. I find it insulting to spend a lot of money on hardware to have a piece of total crap control over it. My name is John and I am a sophisticated and savvy It is from this perspective that I speak A 2020 computer and software cannot produce 1990s results- Today is the day to put an end to this century- There are none! Do not use NO if you require any type of surveillance capability, whether it be in real time The system fails miserably and completely.
In addition, the return policy is too short - I can't return it An item of low quality is only afforded because the price is so high.
The signal of some of my further-reaching wireless cameras is often lost. I cannot seem to find a booster antenna or add-on that will help. Two of them don't pick up motion. I still need to speak with the techs about this. In the past, they have been helpful when I called about other issues.
Buying extra antennas was a good decision. There is no change in the This causes them to I am sure they would be fine if you just needed them for a small area, but don't expect them to be too far from the receiver. Even though I extended my WiFi with an extender, I feel like that made things I wish you luck! You might be able to get the most out of a wired setup.
