According to what is written below, I've had this system for 2 years now and have never had any performance issues with it. Below you will find a list of issues that may arise but otherwise everything appears to be working correctly. I was recently contacted by Annie, who sent me a free camera to make up for the situation, so it appears that they're willing to work with the buyers. Until the issues listed below have been resolved, I plan to buy Anke again. There's an amendment I need to make to my review since I had it the first week. When all of the cameras are installed, it becomes evident that there are some problems with the NVR on this system. The first good thing is. There's no disappointment there since I found the cameras to be of excellent quality, well set up and very user-friendly. The picture quality is excellent, so I'm not disappointed. There are, however, a number of issues with the NVR. In trying to go into Review mode to look at old footage, I could only pull up a few channels. The rest said 'No Resource'. After I setup the cameras and went into Review mode, I could only access one to two channels. After attempting to change the settings for over an hour, I was unable to do so. A second thing to note is that all the cameras are described as "Camera 1". I cannot make any changes to menu settings, no matter what I try. It either tells me the function is not available or that I am not authorized. It is my hope that Annke will read this message and get back to me as soon as possible about rectifying the situation, when that happens, I will change the review and update my thoughts. This system seems great, and if I didn't have my Amcrest system that does not work with this system, I probably would have gone with ANNKE's 8 camera system. gonna use this as a backup since I had tried ANNKE before and their customer service beats most, and I also had it a few years earlier, but I just wanted an upgrade since it did not break. You should make sure that you get as many cameras as you need or want if you get this. As soon as I get bored with these Amcrest cameras and my warranty is up, I will get ANNKE cameras.
