This is my first serious security camera, and I really enjoy using A lot of features are packed into this camera. The biggest problem I have is that I do not think they should allow you to use another cloud service to store your video. There is no way for me to figure it out if there is one. In addition to paying $60 a year for my ring cameras, I have to buy an additional camera. There is no way I'm paying another $100 for my FosCam. I only have one other complaint, however. You can't watch the playback of videos from the micro SD card in full screen on my cellphone when reviewing them from the micro SD card.

I do not have a NVR, so I cannot comment on its performance. I like using my phone or computer to listen to it, even though the sound is a bit low. Setting up is a little tricky, but the tool is still easier to use. It is good to open an account and set it up, but if you are using a VPN, this could delay the process further or cause the network not to operate properly. Install it where ever you want, but keep in mind this device is somewhat heavy, so be careful as it can be easily blown off by strong winds, so use strong screws. The screws provided are rather weak and cheap. The diameter was 1/4 inch and the number of turns three. It would take a tornado to tear it off. It needs to be at least 5 inches long to really secure it to the wall on the outside. The software is not the most appealing, but it is doable. All in all, I am satisfied with the purchase. The price is high because it is a PTZ security camera, so expect a few things to be as they are at this price. If you want one of superior quality, the price is higher. Three Foscam cameras later, this one is my favorite. A couple of years ago, I got two indoor foscam cameras. It took me only five minutes to set up the new outdoor camera. It looks pretty cool and is very sturdy. Setup was pretty straightforward and took no more than five minutes. I think it's even better than my indoor camera in terms of picture quality and video quality. I really like the casing and waterproofness of this camera since it is specially designed for outdoor use. A benefit of using a SIM card for video storage is that I can use it to store videos. Although I already own a Nest camera, it does not allow storage on sim cards. I am very excited to have this new addition to my home security system. I am very grateful to Foscsm for another.
