Although I have hadn't tried Blueiris yet, it does support Orchid VMS.
In the mount, the camera is able to pivot and spin so it can be mounted on the wall or on the ceiling.
Thanks, yes, that's right. The RLN8-R 4K NVR comes with a 3.5mm audio jack
I would not recommend that you use Reolink cameras with NVRs from other brands because the cameras may use different protocols from each other and therefore may not work correctly. Thanks for explaining.

It is a pretty good camera, all in all. A number of ReoLink cameras, as well as Amcrest cameras, are in my collection. In comparison to the others, this one stands out quite well. The pros are I am - Despite not being 4K, the video quality is very good. I am - A newer firmware version is available for the 410)
- This camera has a 3x optical zoom (optical zoom is much better than digital zoom)
This is slightly better than the others in terms of night vision. I am - not as big as it might seem. I am - I feel like the construction is quite sturdy.
- Provides support for I am - A microphone is built into the device. I am - It has a microSD card slot (it is on the camera itself you must rotate the camera 90 degrees to discover the slot which is hidden behind a screwed in lid). I am - This product can easily be mounted to the ceiling or wall with its twist off base. A set of drywall mounts and screws is included for this purpose. Among the cons I am - Features an 18" black cable that is located at the back of the camera, ready for plugging in the power adapter and/or Ethernet cable to the camera. It also features a button for resetting the camera. You need a place to put the camera indoors if you are planning to use it. I am - A variety of formats are not supported, including It means the video size on the camera will be much larger than on a camera that does not I am - The official installation manual did not come with it so I could figure out how to remove the base (twist) so I could As easy as this was to figure out, it would have been nice if it had been.
I have used a large number of different brands and cameras of at least 5 megapixels, and I can tell you that Reolink has the best app for IP Compared to other apps, this one is the most responsive and most Apple or iOS users will at least be able to use their app. Even though this camera is rather fast, it has a limited number of smart features. We are months behind other brands when it comes to usability of the motion detection function. You will not be notified about motion if you set the sensitivity too high as your sensitivity is triggered by clouds passing overhead. Nonetheless, the notification in the app is fast.
The night vision is not very good without the infrared functionality on, as opposed to cameras from Amcrest or Dahua with Starlight lenses. A HDR function does not seem to exist on the Reolink camera. I like the daytime picture very much as it is sharp and clear. According to me, this PoE camera, as I mentioned earlier, appears to be lacking in terms of design and functionality compared to other PoE While the app is better than any other out there, it is not the only one. It has a much better app than NEST, but it doesn't have a 5MP camera and the notification delay in the app is quite long. If you're going to use Ring, leave the cameras alone. Therefore, with all due respect, there is not a perfect system out there. You can't combine hardware and software products from different manufacturers, which is very frustrating.
Adding another Reolink camera to my armada makes this the fifth in a series. Having said that, it's a nice way to watch birds in my backyard. The zoom isn't as smooth as I'd like (to help establish expectations, I'm a photographer), but it's still very useful. As a result, I was able to mount the camera on the end of my deck, manually rotate the camera, and zoom it electronically to get the desired view. NOTE
Please read this carefully. You must ensure you purchase the correct type of PoE Injector if purchasing an In order to use this camera, you must have a fully IEEE-802. This active injector is 3AF-compliant and provides 48 volts. Power delivered by passive means and at low voltages cannot be used.
You should probably stop reading this if you are not a geek. In contrast, this camera's setup requires installing executable software first before you can access it via your browser, so if you want to setup a camera using your browser, you'll be disappointed. Support told me I should connect the device to my router and use that to discover the static IP address. It has no default static IP on it, and my static address is not given by default. It is impossible to get their service anywhere else, since neither their client nor their phone application are available, and you must trust that it will not sludge your system with something harmful. It did work with Zoom, so that's a plus. In the end, I threw it away and got a new one. The other models from their company might be better, but I wouldn't count on that. Is it really worth it? In addition to those cameras, there are even others which provide their camera specifications in their documentation, and you do not have to "trust them". They might be trustworthy to you, but not to me.
It's nice to be outside during the day. The field of view is closer to what's available from the non-commercial cameras Cameras from AI have a greater vertical field of view (compared to cameras from 820a, which have a very small vertical field of view). My favorite part of the AI is the new firmware that allows you to set human and vehicle movement sensitivity differently, as well as setting the "minimum" size for both
Unfortunately, that's about all that the pros have to offer. When the unit detects motion, the LEDs turn on immediately, and the unit reboots once the unit has detected After rebooting for nearly 2 minutes, the computer was back to normal. Once the motion has been withdrawn, it is too late. My live feed is useless at night. Reolink engineers and support have watched the live feed and acknowledged the issue, but they do not seem to know what it Both of my 822a cameras, purchased at different points in time, experience this problem. It is impossible for me to imagine that the replacement will differ in any way. It appears that the AI cameras have this problem which indicates masked off areas will still trigger recordings if they see The companies have been working on fixing this issue since their AI cameras were released nearly a year ago, but it still hasn't been correct. This does not apply to them The AI cameras are not affected by this issue. As of right now, I also have no confidence that they will fix the problem. It seems they're focusing all their efforts on their spotlight cameras rather than fixing bugs for existing products. They are already testing them and have already begun their trials. There were no fewer than nine bugs reported during beta testing. A machine learning version) which ran flawlessly 24 hours a day.
