I expected the stand to be a little flimsy, but as an amateur photographer who didn't want to spend a lot of money, I went with it. I've been very pleased with it, and it's withstood the test of time with several active families. I've only used it with muslin; I haven't tried it with a roll of backdrop paper.
Product is excellent, and the price is reasonable.
It's functional, but it's a flimsy product; my recommendation is to spend a little more money and get a better product.
This is the quilt display stand I use during quilt and children's literature programs. It's strong enough to get the job done while also being light enough to transport.
I purchased the stand with the intention of using it for outdoor shots. I'll have to put sand backs around the tripod's base if I want to use it. It's very light, and the wind can easily push it away. It's also small, but that was stated in the product description, so it's not my fault.
The spring clips stop working after a year, so you can only use the stand to photograph people or objects that are less than 3 feet tall. Worst of all, when I contacted customer service, they ignored my requests for assistance.
A fantastic product for taking photographs.
This stand hasn't let me down; I've had it for two years and it's still going strong. The top bar bent a little, but it didn't affect it in any way. The carrying bag is nice, and it makes it much easier to carry, despite the fact that it is heavy and large!.
