The iMagstand 16" x 12" is made up of three layers: a wood base, rubber-steel, and car wrapping film.

Comes with two folding hooks that can be mounted on the wall or on a copy stand's platform.

For initial setting, focusing, aligning, adjusting, and sizing, the surface is printed and laminated with 12" precision grids with squared corners.

When using a copy stand, place the camera on the copy holder and move it to find your target for shooting or panning (in videography).

Is this board's surface lustrous or dull? Is it possible that reflections are causing a problem?

It doesn't have a gleaming or gleaming finish. It isn't reflective; however, I always used lights from the sides, never from above.

At the age of 71, I'm digitizing both my own and my wife's family history - In the neighborhood of 30 banker boxes. I made a stand out of 3/4" galvanized pipe and fittings, and I'm using it to hold my Canon 7D DSLR camera. br>The issue is that many of the photos and documents won't lay flat. Without the stand, I began by using quarters to hold down the corners. I found it difficult to use the two magnetic strips that came with this magnetic stand. br>I had some small rare earth magnets that worked great and were small enough to stay out of the way for the most part. The magnetic board gets 5 stars.

To photograph my work, I can either mount it on the wall or place it on the platform of my copy stand. The inclusion of magnets is a nice touch. I am extremely pleased.

Why is it necessary to rate something like that? This board, in combination with a copy table, is being used to pin down old heirloom 120 photos from the 1930s and forward.
