Selected User Reviews For Godox Xpro-N i-TTL II 2.4G X System Wireless Control Remote Trigger with 2X X1R-N Controller Receiver Compatble for Flash

A phenomenal performance Even if I were to start, where would I The problem is that I had an Altura basic transmitter/receiver set up, but I got sick of having to walk to the flash units every time I needed In the end, I bought two Cactus V6II controllers, and they were a real pain
5/5

As a software engineer, everything I do involves understanding the quirks of software, but I was never able to figure out the Cactus V6 II to the point that Then I got these and decided to change my life. doing this - AN) when I opened the package it was on my Z7 and I had a flash on the receiver. However, I did have to deal with one oddity As I changed manual settings, I had to press the test button on the X-ray machine It is necessary to update the settings in Pro. If I had the option, I would have put the X A pro in multi-tasking The shooter mode that I chose sends all the settings to the camera for every shot, so I did not have to hit the test button as often. The shooter mode may use a bit more battery, but it works, and it simply does not cause problems. My assumption is that the manual mentions this, but I don't read manuals very often (I figure if I can figure something out in a few minutes without the manual, the product is probably well-designed). On Christmas, I had five flashes set up to take photos of my family in candid mode. It was a different kind of flash every time There were two types of flashes one used a sync cord to connect an old studio flash, and one used a Nikon SB-600 The Godox TT860II was one of the flashes, one of the Altura flashes, and one of the Godox TT600 flashes. Overall, I got very good results and was able to keep the brightness of each of the five groups independent of one another throughout the day. I was even able to get an X-ray. In favor of Using the S for my Sony camera, I had my sister take photos with the same camcorder, and the multi-camera performance was superb It is a shooting environment as well. There have been only two issues with my product

- I was taking pictures fairly quickly and interested in testing how long the battery would last on one or two of the flashes, so there were times when one or two of the flashes failed to fire My fault probably just lies in waiting too long for the flash to charge. "- " Once in a while, the Godox flashes start to really show their power. These cells are in a saving mode and cannot be woken up with the transmitter, but must be woken up physically. There is no doubt that this is a result of the flashes and not of the X-rays It is good. My manual needs to be read determine whether I can change this or if there is a way to wake it Only after a certain time period did this appear A period of inactivity of 10 minutes. At this point, I would not hesitate to use this system for real shoots, but I would be sure to check the Godox flashes to make sure they haven't gone to sleep (unless I find something in the manual to fix this problem).

Some people don't need this or it is not for everyone
3/5

You must touch the center dial button for your settings to be confirmed. I assume there is some background housekeeping using the battery, so perhaps it's not as good as it could be. These triggers do not offer the same advantages as advertised primarily due to assigning groups with power ratings to these groups. The benefit would be great if they were placed a great distance from the camera and made small adjustments, but inverse square law could be applied to achieve the same result by strategically positioning the flash at the start of the session. It is not a system I would recommend to anyone doing events as it takes a long time to adjust settings and the battery life cannot last for longer than the key moments. It does not have the kind of power management to last for your entire event and usually requires changing batteries every two hours. I have retired my computer other than for short-term work because it is such a power hog. There is some good communication between the triggers when there is enough power in the controller to direct the power for setting flash. Besides simple, reliable, and fast radio triggers for Nikon, there are other simple and reliable radio triggers which support high speed sync. As of right now I only use a point and shoot that syncs at 1/60th, I do not know what Canon does. The triggers should be used for what you intend them to do and the duration of the project should be determined. As well as reading as many reviews (both pro and con) as possible, I recommend doing your research before you make an investment. I did not spend much money on this purchase however, if I could sell them for close to what I paid I would be satisfied with my purchase. I believe the star rating I gave this product is a reflection of its performance under the conditions I briefly discussed. In addition, I have been shooting TTL flash for more than a quarter century and have seen it's growth first-hand. You'll have the most success with an inverse square law meter and learning light meters. In order to accomplish a stop gain or a reduction in the output, you are able to walk up to your lightstand and move it in or out.

But it has a very poor trigger system
5/5

I've wanted this system for a long time. Normally, I use 2 speedlights (Neewer, because they are less expensive) and I was unsure if the trigger system I purchased would work since they aren't Godox. The trigger I have only has one trigger to one receiver, and I have to use the second flash in slave mode with the Newer trigger system. If it is outside during the day, the sun can cause the slave to fire and will continue firing until I cover the sensor, so depending on where it is, it may not see the flash and won't fire or if it is indoors at night, it may not fire and not fire. There is no need to worry about all that as each of the receivers gets the same signal as this unit. as a flash from one of the camera shutter buttons 'triggering' the trigger in order to send a signal to the receivers so they can As these are not Godox speedlights, I am unable to change any of the settings on each device directly on the trigger/main screen. Consequently, I have to switch the bulbs on every light by hand, which annoys me. For the lights, it would cost a third of the price. At the moment, I am doing what I need to do. In order for this to work at its full potential, you will have to acquire Godox lights as well. The price is more than I can afford, but I will have to decide whether it is worth it.

Photographers who need to sculpt light will benefit from this product
5/5

From the point of view of this review, the basic function of a trigger system is to turn on the off-camera lighting. That is the sole purpose for which almost any system would be suitable, and the current system is overkill for that. This system is a great balance between function and cost if you are looking to sculpt light or trigger light with the option to trigger for now and future needs. It is even more than what you pay for if you want to trigger for now and the future. At the moment, I can see this purchase as a lifelong purchase the features seem to be dependable for years to come.
