It works over distance, but you have to reset it? The ML60 LED light can be used to operate the light remotely from across a wedding venue

It can be turned on/off and the power level is adjustable. A darkened room is only visible if the light is out of power. If the light is out due to depleted batteries, the remote will say "off" and it must be reset.
