All the LEDs are on full power and I just leave it on the highest setting. As a result, I get a nice warm light, since my cameras are set to daylight white balance. I only have one issue since they aren't what I would call a true soft light since I can still see a light source in the center of the diffused white, but since I'm only using them as a fill light, it's not really an issue.

Taking the time to get up and running with this is incredible value. It is easy to set up. It doesn't create the best diffusion material, as you can see from the photo, since it produces a hot spot, but it works. I noticed that the remote was not responding every time, so to fix this I think you should aim the remote at the light every time. It seems the LED quality is a bit lacking on the CRI, there is a bit of a green shift, and I will do a custom white balance before shooting. It's a great value to get started with YouTube, until you're ready to invest in something a little more expensive.
