It is simple to do. The concept of speed is a personal one. Not as quick as an umbrella, but certainly quicker than a single post.

I used to think that "Bowens mount" meant that I shouldn't be concerned, but it appears that nothing is certain: I recently purchased a Bowens soft box (by Angler) that would not fit on my Bowens light (Aperture 120d, the old version). When I contacted the soft box manufacturer, I received confirmation that they would not fit. I'm tempted to try my luck with this one right now, but in my experience, the only way to know if the two items are compatible is to (A) hear from someone who has actually put them together or (B) buy it and put it to the test.

I have about 5 different brands of softboxes, and this one is my new favorite for a few reasons. 1. br>br> It's less difficult to set up than some of the other options. The rods snap into place with little effort, but the box remains sturdy once all of them are in place. Some softbox rods are extremely stiff, making assembly difficult. This is not the case. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The diffused light is fantastic. There are no hotspots on the internal baffle because it has a double-thick center piece. Some softboxes lack this feature, and cheap ones may not have one at all. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. It has a grid attached to it. This is not included in many softboxes. br>br>4. The back of the softbox's velcro flaps ACTUALLY FIT. I have a lot of softboxes with flaps that are just a tad too small, allowing light to leak out the back. These go on easily and without a lot of effort. 5. br>br> It's not too heavy. This is the lightest 36" softbox I own by a long shot. It's super simple to put on and take off without fear of snagging or breaking a light. 6. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> It includes a fantastic carrying case. I love cases, and this one is well-made and branded for easy identification. br>br>Because it has so many sides, the front face has a very round shape, which is ideal for catching light. br>br>I would not hesitate to purchase this product again or to recommend it to others. Look no further if you're on a tight budget and just starting out! You can't go wrong with this for the price. Changes a three-star rating to a four-star rating. It gives off a soft glow, and I like that you can take it apart, keep the grid on the front, and still fit it in the case/bag provided. CONS: br>br> br>Like me on a drunken Saturday night, I believe the arm bars are weak and will not last. This was used on two shoots, both of which have a permeant bend to them. as a result of this, when fully opened, the soft- The fabric/frame on the box isn't completely tight all the way around, so it's a little loose. Like my stepmother, for example. br>Does it make a difference? Probably not, but it makes me feel that way. br>br>Buttons for Closing: These are nearly as annoying as my previous girlfriend. Almost, but no way! They aren't as user-friendly as some of the more well-known brands. I like that they're buttons rather than bars that dig into your fingers, but they could use some lubrication. To relieve pressure in the arms, you must lift them up. To press the button, you must first complete the following steps. br>br>Now that I'm charging $1,500 for video clients, When I'm trying to set up this light in front of them for $20,000 for a video, I don't feel confident (much less embarrassed). It appears to have originated in Chinaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa It has proven to be an effective tool for me. That's why I gave it four out of five stars. I'll put a little more money into it next time and get the Godox.
It's quite large, does an excellent job of diffusing light, and most importantly, the build quality is excellent. It's a little difficult to put together the first time because you have to pull those rods so hard that they feel like they're going to snap, but I was careful and took my time and had no problems. It does take some strength to set it up the first time, so you may need assistance from a second person. br>br>Overall, this is the best softbox I've ever used, with excellent light diffusion.
Granted, I've only had this for about a week, and all I've done with it so far is hang it on the light, attach the grid, and use it, as usual. However, I am very pleased with the end result, and the inclusion of the grid is critical for the type of work I do. I had previously used a white umbrella diffuser to diffuse the light. The difference is that instead of using the light at 90 power I can use it at 45% power. To me, that's astounding. Still, I haven't taken it down, traveled with it, or anything, but it is a very quick setup mechanism. The built-in gel holder is the main difference between the Aputure Light Dome II and this one. That would be useful for an older light I have that is a little cool and could use a hint of orange. Anyway, I don't think I write many Amazon reviews, but this one appears to be a good buy if you need one.
Nicefoto's parabolic softbox measures 90 cm in diameter. I hope they last a long time.
Still photography is something I do as well. In general, I use the same softboxes that I use on the 'hot lights' in the movies. 'However, I had my heart set on something with circular catchlights. ' I picked one up because I thought they were a good deal. It came together in a flash. br>br> It's difficult to describe the outer diffusion, which is thin but stiff. It provides a pleasant soft source of illumination. I've already put it to work on a couple of commercial product projects. I'm really happy with the outcome. br>br>It has an inner baffle, a grid, and a soft carrying bag, which I like! I believe these will last a long time if properly cared for!br>br>The way the rods click into and out of the speed ring is fantastic! There won't be any more misplaced rods! They don't come off the ring!.
I was hesitant to buy this product because of the low number of reviews, but it's a fantastic softbox. The quality is good, and the method for securing the rods is brilliant. I despised the fact that the Light Dome required you to put each one in place individually, making it take longer to put together. In under a minute, this box will be up and running. Love it.
