Viltrox took this lens and created a real gem with it, I don't know how they did it. The set seems to be well made, since most of it is metal (as far as I can tell) and it feel quite substantial. Moreover, it is quite heavy, but not so heavy that it would kill an A7 Throughout the series, the body feels Fast, accurate, and relatively silent, AF is fast and fairly accurate. The camera tends to hunt a bit in low light situations, especially when slowed down, but a lot of times it doesn't seem to be an issue. Especially with regard to sharpness in the center of the frame, the image quality is much better than what I was expecting. Even with the aperture wide open, the image is acceptable. The aperture was set to f/2, but stopped down. 8. When it gets really bad, it just gets worse and worse A sharp edge. It's even possible to use Comparing f/2 to f/1, the difference in quality is discernible. Although I don't pay too much attention to such details, I think the color rendition is good. 6) but it is not major and can easily be corrected post-processing. The amount of chroma aberration is surprisingly well controlled, even when the aperture is maximum. It's my first Tamron lens and I'm glad I got it instead of the Sony 85mm.
It is only darktable that I use instead of Photoshop. The sony copy has slower autofocus and fewer hits in low light than the sony copy. It is incredibly accurate to track the eyes of an animal. I love how razor sharp it is, especially when the lens is Now I have a new favorite lens and I shoot HSS with off camera flash. I'm sorry to see you go, Sony.
All I can say is that! Very cool! I like it a lot! My reluctance to use this lens led me to give it a try. Forgive the pun, and I'm damned. My impression of the results is very positive. When I tried adapting any focal length other than a single focal length (the Prime Lens), it would take one shot and Therefore, I decided to invest in/try this dedicated lens and see if it was worth it. Are results in? I am floored! These images are beautiful. I love how crisp they are. I love the low light ability of this camera, and the cost is so reasonable!.
As several YouTubers have recommended this lens, I decided to purchase it myself. I've added it to my business and it's been a great addition! The scanner is fast and sharp, and it produces great color reproductions. The bag is not too heavy either. I use it all the time now Having to do with lenses. This lens has been updated to make it even faster with a new software upgrade! The 8th to the 1st.
Accordingly, it meets the needs of the economy more than most other lenses. My next step will be to download a few samples of what I can achieve with this lens. I have pulled off five of five and it will be six of five once I figure out how to use the new firmware that will take it to F1.
The lens is pretty impressive by its A little chromatic aberration is visible, but it's not as bad as it might seem. In order to capture these portraits, I used the Sony a9ii camera. It doesn't work on high-powered computers, so I have no idea what its performance would be The resolution of the A7 III, A7 IV) or video use. However, for the price, it makes a great addition to your team's kit.
I was surprised at how good this lens was. The auto focus works well and the image quality is excellent. There is only one thing to be aware of the firmware of the lens sometimes causes it to be finicky (e. g. This is not immediately recognized by my Sony A7iii). In any case, this doesn't happen often and you can fix it by simply taking off and replacing the lens. I feel this is a great lens, especially at such a low.
This lens achieves wonderful edge-to-edge sharpness, has wonderful bokeh, and works brilliantly for astrophotography as well as portraits. The more I use this lens, the more I like it! Only one drawback I have found is that there is a slight vignette in very dark situations (like astrophotography), but it is very easily fixed in Lightroom.
