Product Description

Designed Very Well The lens is designed very well. Unlike native Fuji primes, it feels better in the hand since it is made entirely of metal. As a matter of fact, it feels much more solidly constructed This camera weights just 492 grams, and it has a standard lens hood, making it perfect for outdoor portrait photography.
It provides more precise autofocus than the older models, because it features a faster and quieter stepping motor. As fast as many native lenses, the auto focus is also fast.
This 85mm F1 lens produces amazing images. 8. Aperture The image quality on this lens is surprisingly good and it's a very solid performer. You will find excellent center and edge to edge sharpness on this lens, while the resolving power is excellent. The first one. The 8 Aperture and 85mm focal length provide you with a soft and natural background blur that is ideal for portrait photography. It also delivers the superb image resolution and contrast.
Focusing is exceptionally accurate due to this lens' neutral quality. The neutral quality of this lens lends skin a subtle sheen, making it a perfect lens to use for portraits and black and white photography alike. Metal focus rings provide a smooth experience and provide the 145 with its smoothness. With a 9° throw, a camera can focus precisely even at close ranges, all the while minimizing the nuances that could otherwise be obvious.
The newest version of the lens firmware is continuously updated through the USB port to enhance lens performance, and the newest Fuji X-mount cameras are supported (please refer to the product description for your Fuji X-mount camera's compatibility information).

Questions & Answers

Are you talking about the version II? There is no mention of it ?

In fact, yes. There is a direct correlation between title and content

The lens appears to be quite heavy, so how much weight is it?

As with most fast lenses, this lens is pretty heavy. However, I have used it on an Xpro 3 and an XH-100S with no issues. I found it to be a lighter lens than some of the Canon lenses I used to own before switching.

Do you have a metal hood or a plastic hood?

It doesn't matter if it's a cane with a lens or a plastic cane. To replace the original hood, I used a different one.

Can I use this lens with my Fujifilm XT1 digital ?

It works just fine with my XT3, even though I do not own an XT1. When it comes to lens choice and electrical contacts, they are the determining factors. In the XT series, all Fuji X lenses are compatible. This Viltrox lens fits just like any other Fuji X lens and should therefore be compatible with XT1 as well. Whenever something goes wrong, there is always a way to return.

*If you make your living with a camera, don't skimp. The money must be put up & The 90mm f/2 is the lens that you need. Photographers who specialize in sports can use this application Put up the money and buy the 90mm f/2 for premium autofocus. If you simply want to make extra money with your camera or decide to go full-time with it, this is not for you If you want time-lapse photography, this is the one you need. You won't regret a single dollar spent. You may enjoy shooting landscapes and other outdoor scenes if you're a hobbyist If you need an 85mm f/1 lens for portraits, save your money and purchase the Rokinon. It is a manual focus camera, but you do not need automatic focus for landscapes or Buying it used will also save you $200 compared to buying the Viltrox. Speed at which auto focus will operate About 0 people live there. The video lasts 29 seconds. Testing has been performed on the 90mm in a lab. In 14 seconds. It is extremely noticeable when a low light condition occurs, but you will not notice it at all in normal light conditions. If the subject is on the lower end of the minimum focus range, then it also takes a noticeable amount of time to focus. Generally, this is the case with most lenses, but in this "budget" lens, it stands out more. This image has a good quality In terms of functionality, it comes close to meeting the requirements of the 90mm camera. Unless you zoom into a pixel peep, you will not see anything. The color quality is the following As the image fidelity is so sharp you are unlikely to notice that the color is a little bit off from what Fujis usually produce. As a whole I have owned both and I can say without hesitation that the 90mm is the better of the two I think it worked out better than I expected. Additionally, I can state without hesitation that a 90mm lens isn't worth the money unless someone plans to use it to make money. There are two great alternatives on the market. being said, it is a premium product and could easily sell for more than Now might be a good time to buy it before it goes up in price.

The best image quality for an affordable price
5/5

It is well-made and enables you to get good pictures. I used to own a 90mm f/2 Various reviewers have compared this lens to the 90mm f/2, but another has not compared it to that lens. As I noted in my previous post, I was able to get some really beautiful images with the 85mm camera copy that I received. There is no reason to hesitate for the cost. Having seen Viltrox's past offerings, I am excited for what it should offer.

It's possible to buy the best 85mm for money
5/5

It is cheaper to some people to buy this lens than something over $100, but to me anything over $100 is not cheap. To me, any lens longer than 85mm is expensive. Since my eyes aren't as good as they once were, I have to trust autofocus on lenses now. On YouTube, I hate when the trends cram all that nonsense down our throats. The lens is on my camera every day. I make 1500$ in photo shoots a day with it. It is already in the same league as expensive brand names that you can find on you tube, so do not listen to them, I recommend this lens. It is not my company that sponsors me. Further lenses in this series will be purchased for other camera bodies as well.

This is a fast lens that is good enough for professionals
5/5

In my collection I have a range of Fuji and Viltrox lenses, all of which I like At wide open, this lens is an excellent telephoto portrait lens, but it is also a good landscape / wildlife lens stopped down between 3 and 4. The numbers 2 to 11 are the same. This lens transmits and renders colors and light beautifully, like an old classic lens from the 1940's or 1950's. A portrait lens that is a little on the soft side, has good bokeh, excellent subject separation, and good colors is generally liked by people. All of that can be found in the Viltrox 85mm. This is a APS type of device Approximately 135mm equivalent, which can be used for close range of a few small animals and some landscapes. I would say this lens is very sharp, but I found the vignetting between 1. 35 and 1. 35 as well as perceived softness. In 8 and 2, as well as in 3. A 2 is not good for taking photos of the stars since you'll need more light and a The lens will exhibit some color fringing in "very bright" light when it is wide open, however, this should not effect portraits taken in controlled conditions. Furthermore, you can stop it down to between 2 and 8 if you so desire. A score of 8 or 5 is acceptable. If you don't have a ND filter, you won't need a 6 in very bright light.
The frenging has little effect for real world situations, taking into consideration what post processing will do to the image. In the example below, a book lying down in "very bright," sharp contrast between white and black causes longitudinal color aberration, but the problem is easily avoided in real life. Most LaCA can be corrected in post. The test image was taken in bright light In my opinion, a moderate amount of softness in a wide open portrait is desirable for the subject it has a certain amount of softness and color fringing, when pixel peeping at 300% on the flower. There is very little fringing in human images of lower contrast, so no one will even notice it. A very slight softness can easily blur many skin imperfections and that's a positive thing, unless you're after a more gritty cowboy look like you might get with I'm counting down from 2 to 1. A test image made from 8 would be very sharp, and a test image made from 4+ would be Lenses like this are rare.

The MKII version of this lens was sent to me
5/5

The Fujifilm X system is a perfect match for this lens. Its autofocus is quite precise, the bokeh is incredibly pleasing, and the price makes it well worth the investment. The lens also reproduces images that are on par with some of Fujifilm's first party lenses. Aside from all that, the STM motor in this guy is incredibly quiet. I would not hesitate to record videos with this guy or use the built-in microphone. Since I chose the MKII version of this lens, I received the original version even though I ordered the MKII. It is my understanding that the Mark II version of this lens is lighter, and comes with a better (and different).
