The camera that I am selling at the bottom indicated the same thing I had at the bottom of mine, which said Cosina Co Ltd. I am not sure what your question is about but I just looked on ebay and saw another R3A. It is unclear when Cosina Japan bought Voightlander, but it was in the past. It is most likely that the only Voightlanders with a made in Germany tag are the very old models and they are not R3As, which are relatively later models. Thanks for reading. we are very happy with our purchase of this camera. We read a lot of reviews before making our decision. I think this is a great camera for those who want to shoot discretely and want to replace their autodigital cameras with a better one. Is an ointment that doesn't work.
Glasses wearers, you will see a lot of cut off in the viewfinder because of glasses. I use the one with the 40 mm focal length. A great lens from Nokton, and as the camera has 40 mm guide lines in the viewfinder, this should be absolutely perfect. Sorry, but it is very irritating.
