Purchase this telescope at your own risk. I am totally blown away by this expense. The detail of the moon looked more clear through a naked eye than it did The piece of junk is useless.
Yes, it sucks since my girlfriend wanted to get one for her nephew's bday and the sky was clear and stars were all over the place. I tried for over an hour and couldn't even focus on I would advise you not to purchase!
As far as I can tell, this is either the least useful thing I've ever owned or I have no idea what it's even for, I couldn't focus on the moon with it I gave up on it after a short period of time
Please do not buy this telescope, as it only comes with a 5mm and 10mm lens. I must return

Unless your child is very young, do not purchase this telescope as a toy or for very early skygazing. The lenses are blurry and hard to focus, so it is almost impossible to see anything through them. A dot of light is the most you will see. Once we could see the moon, but it was also just a bright ring of light. We simply did not see the point in doing it.
I felt like I was throwing my money away by purchasing this product! It was impossible for me to see through it. I would not recommend buying this at all. How did it appeal to me? A child could show it in his or her room because it is so cute.
