Yes, it'll be fine; it's a little sensitive to being knocked while trying to look through the lens, but otherwise it'll be fine. It is used by my 6-year-old son.

This is an excellent telescope for children. It went together quickly and easily. It does, however, come with no instructions on how to use it. It has a lot of different features, but I can't tell you what they do because I don't have any documentation. To play with it, I'll have to do some additional research. I'm looking forward to giving it a shot.

This was brought for my 3-year-old grandson, who requested a telescope to look at the stars at night. When I presented him with his gift, he was ecstatic. It was simple to put together, but it turned out to be much smaller than anticipated. He, too, was dissatisfied with the size, despite the fact that he had stated that he desired a large telescope.
It's too complicated.
It was exactly what my children were looking for.
Terrible. Put everything together for my five-year-old son. old. The stars are barely visible in the dark starry night. Even objects closer than the stars are impossible to see. What a colossal financial blunder! My son is even more dissatisfied with the situation than I am.
The telescope was a waste of money! We can see through it up close, but when we use it to see the moon or use the erecting eye piece as instructed, everything becomes blurry and we can't clear it!.
