It is suitable for specimens that are transparent enough to allow light to pass through. It is impossible for light wavelengths to pass through rocks. Polarizing microscopes are useful for the study of thin mineral sections, but such microscopes cannot resolve individual crystal structures. There are rotatable filters that can be inserted into instruments able to receive them to study mineral sections. The best way to do that is to take pictures of X-ray structures using an electron microscope Analyze the diffraction patterns left by the specimen, then analyze the X-ray images To determine the crystal structure, x-ray pictures are taken.
Please accept my sincere thanks for your inquiry. "The objective lenses on both 380 and 350 are 195mm wide, which means that the conjugate distance is 195mm otherwise, they are almost the same, with only one major exception The mechanical SW380 has better focusing accuracy and a better angular appearance. Should we be able to assist in any other way, we'd be more than happy to do so. Thank you, Lily

About two years ago, I bought an Amscope B120C compound microscope for just under $200 and it turned out to be an excellent bargain. things, it was used for monitoring plankton samples at a temperature of -40 to -60 degrees Celsius Using a magnifying glass 100x. In addition to taking photos through the eyepiece and with an Amscope D-, I also tried other photo-taking methods After trying a binocular adapter and a SLR adapter, I found that I got even better results by removing the binocular headpiece and mounting my camcorder via a telescope eye-piece. It can either be a customized piece or a non-custom piece A tube was built After that, I stumbled upon the Swift 350T trinocular microscope for a little I noticed that the design of it looked very similar to the Amscope 120, except for the handle built into the stand. This prompted me to place the order. When the Swift was delivered, I could see a lot of similarities. This suggested some parts were made in the same factory (shown on the left in the picture). Minor changes were made in the stage and the condenser adjustment was a helical mount instead of a There were interchangeable headpieces for the Swift and the AmScope. As far as I could tell, the images were of the same quality. There were several threaded tubes on the trinocular headpiece camera port, so I was able to attach my Eagle Optics eyepiece (which is no longer available) if it were not hard enough to use a two-step process. You can reduce the camera's filter rings by lowering the lens. An eyepiece with a large diameter and long focal length has been developed for this telescope The distance allows it to be attached more easily to cameras or camcorders. Good karma led to the eyepiece of the telescope and the regular eyepieces having the same focal length, making taking pictures quite easy when something of interest is located. With the trinocular head, you are able to permanently split the beam into two parts A distance of 50mm needs to be between the camera port and the In each eyepiece, about 25 percent of the light enters). LEDs are bright enough to provide a good level of darkness A back stop may be inserted into the filter holder to obtain field images (as in the photo of phytoplankton) and may be sufficient for bright-field imaging Light is used to illuminate the field. I find the Swift 350 to be a splendid microscope for the price and an excellent choice for students and hobbyists alike.
purchased this microscope for the purpose of completing labs at home as part of my school assignments. took into account that my field of study is Biochemistry, and I thought that it would be advantageous to purchase a slightly more expensive microscope to use in my field. It fit my needs and requirements perfectly and I decided to purchase that microscope. Since I have only used this microscope three times I am becoming concerned about the quality of the device. A lens sleeve identifying the type of immersion oil objective is currently extremely loose, making it impossible to determine what lens is which. In light of it being so loose, I am worried it may damage the immersion oil lens due to It has a few more components, like the handle and the rotating objective lens pieces, that have me wondering whether they were built properly, as they have begun to loosen after only a short period The issues may be fixed, but because I am not a lab equipment engineer, it would be difficult for me to know where to begin in fixing them correctly without potentially damaging the equipment further. Unlike the full-featured microscopes that are priced at $100, As a full-time student and full-time worker, every dollar counts, especially when hundreds of dollars are spent on scientific research lab equipment that ends up falling short of expectations.
A person who is not too sensitive or dull- lights don't get hot, so they don't cause any discomfort Having a trinocular view and being able to present things in front of a whole This microscope is heavy, but it's usually the norm for optics, and they likely need it to maintain a steady balance. There is just one small wish - I wish it was lighter when I put it away for the weekend
NOTE Not a replacement for high-quality cushions Work that is suitable for a school laboratory, but not quite good enough.
All of the mechanisms work smoothly and there is no backlash in this unit. The tolerances are tight and the assembly is very well made. It is heavy, and there is a very professional feel to it. There was plenty of foam padding to protect the optics, and it was very well wrapped so there would be no dust entry. It's a great scope right out of the box, no need to fine-tune or clean it. It is amazing how much light the LEDs produce.
I was excited to try out the extra eyepiece/camera port on this device. This is an excellent microscope for hobbyists as well as students at the high school and college levels, especially at the Easily focuses through each magnification level, the controls are responsive, the LED bulb is very bright without being hot, and all the controls are simple to use. A very stable and weighty base is provided It's great to have an arm handle to make carrying it easier! I adore the trinocular port on this microscope. It came with two sets of eyepieces, so I was able to test it The pictures show a slide with the 10x lens in the third port and the 25x lenses in the binoculars. I took them on my phone. This was an incredibly clear demonstration of microscopy, and I think the third port would greatly assist those teaching young children about microscopy, since they could make their own adjustments as everyone was going to be.
