Questions & Answers

If you wear glasses, how well does it work? How does the eyepoint spec work?

I like it a lot. Although I'm not sure of the exect eyepoint specification, I would assume that it is in the range of 1 to 2 cm. Currently, I am at the business, so I can't measure the camera (I would need to look at it and take the measurement). I will provide you with more information later. The camera viewfinder is a crucial part and makes it more expensive. However, it is an essential part for the camera and is expensive.

Do you know if it works with a Canon ?

As far as I know, Canon confirms that it is compatible with the Canon G3X and the Canon My G1X MK2 was upgraded to the G3X, but I was thinking of changing to it. Could you please tell me what you think about this camera? Theophile *br> Denis

Can it run on the EOS - ?

It is an EOS-based system The M does not have the contacts in the hot shoe to support the use of an EVF-style finder In DC1, click on Viewfinders such as these can be used externally.

The powershot G12 is not listed here. Is it compatible with it?

With the G12, you have your own viewfinder. Canon's EVF is the first EVF on the market This is a good fit for DC1. There may be other models in the G series that would fit this as well.

Please visit www. com". The purpose of this review is to examine the EVF-M and advise on its use The viewfinder for the Canon G1X Mark II can be found here. It was my hope that Canon would improve on their first attempt at a compact, high-resolution camera, the Canon G1X, when I received it Featuring a large sensor, this is the end of point and shoot cameras. In the original G1X, we faulted the tiny optical viewfinder, the poor focusing performance, the finite zoom range, and lack of close-up capability for its many shortcomings. Bringing focus to the surface. As soon as I learned about the G1X Mark II and its improvements over the original G1X, I was excited. My "old school" way of taking pictures is by hand, and I do not like using an LCD screen to compose photos. When using a viewfinder, I find it more convenient. that I was still reluctant to shell out an extra $250 for the EVF, especially after spending $750 on the G1X Mark II camera already. That was a good move on my part. Below is a list of the things I like 1. It has a large LCD screen so that you can see everything as you normally would. When shooting, going through the menu, and playing back, this includes A) shooting, B) exploring the menu, and C) playing back. 1. . 2. Automatically turning on once you close your eyes to it and switching back to the LCD screen when you move your eyes away, it comes on automatically when you put your eye close to Lastly, 3. is tiltable upwards, so it is ideal for low angles. Item 4. I love how responsive it is and how "real-time" it is You have the ability to capture the "time" viewing of your subject

What I dislike
1. A price multiplied by two is the price. On top of the camera, it adds a little to the overall size dimensions. In a nutshell, I gave it a 2- On a photo excursion to Alaska, I worked out for a week. With its size, the image quality and ease of use, the EVF made photography enjoyable again, so I could enjoy travel and take great photos at the same time. * Br> * Br>For me personally, taking videos without the benefit of a viewfinder is painful. When the EVF is mounted on the hot shoe of the camera, it makes shooting video a snap.

I am not sure why the five The four-star system should be replaced with stars Despite the negatives listed above, is it still worthy of five stars? There are a number of As such, the superior results from viewing the scene and reading the images make it so much more worthwhile and enjoyable than any of the negatives, that I give it a 5-star rating. It is rated as five stars. I review a lot of Canon equipment and accessories, but I don't blindly support every item the company makes. I cannot imagine that anyone would dislike this attachment if they could deal with the price tag. This is a review of CanonCameraGeek, a site devoted to Canon cameras. The web site.

The costs are high, but the benefits are numerous
5/5

As a second camera I purchased my Canon EOS M3 from another retailer, and the EVF was not within the scope of their service You are viewing the viewfinder for the DC1. In fact, I thought the screen on the camera would be adequate, so I deferred purchasing the EVF until the next day. Because of the cost, I opted to buy the DC1, but soon discovered using the display instead of a viewfinder was not only awkward but virtually impossible in bright sunlight, so I put my M3 on the shelf and continued using my DSLR instead. After my wife suggested I buy the EF-100, I did DC1 type. As a result, the Canon EOS M3 can be used much more effectively than before. Holding the camera this way allows the camera to be viewed from the eye of the viewer. The subject of the shot can be easily positioned in the shot as well. This is one thing I never remove You will automatically be able to see what's on the screen in the viewfinder when you put the device.

The G3 works well with this product My camera is a Canon G3's new - I got this for it I love how well it works! This was my first time using an EVF after years of shooting with a DSLR camera
5/5

It has met my expectations and I am very pleased It is convenient to view previous pictures as well, as the viewfinder provides a large, bright, and responsive image when used. I keep it on my camera always.

I find the viewfinder Reviewing photos with the viewfinder is a much more efficient use of time than using the LCD. In the summertime, I wear sunglasses when outside if I'm not wearing corrective lenses. No matter whether you have glasses on or off, this viewfinder works great. I would be happy to accept this as my only complaint but I feel it takes about 1/2 second for the viewfinder to become active after your eye is placed in It is possible to use the LCD of the camera when you are not looking through the viewfinder, and you need to fire the camera right away. I highly recommend this book!.

A viewfinder is difficult to use
4/5

However, if you're used to them, you'll want to take a look at When it is bright outside and you're having a hard time using the rear display, this can be very useful. The sensor may be located on the back of the camera, but when I bring the camera to my eye, the display on the back goes black. The display in the viewfinder automatically illuminates. On the side of the unit there is an option to turn it on and off manually. This option is also found in the camera settings. A diopter is built in so that if you wear glasses, you can easily adjust the view for perfect A nice feature is that you can look "into" the viewfinder when it's rotated up. If you are shooting from the ground at a very low level, this can be very helpful. In addition to the fact that it is located in the hot zone My guess is that it takes power from the Canon G3X's battery, reducing the already problematic battery life of the camera. It would be best to replace your camera case with a larger one so the camera fits and take the case off when not in use. The final drawback of this item is the cost it is very expensive and may be out of the range of a casual user or someone who does not plan to use it very If the price was lower, I would give it a 5 star review. There are times when the software is bundled with the camera at a significant discount. My overall impression is that it is a good product.

Not a fan of the vendor, but love the viewfinder
5/5

In spite of the fact that I knew I wanted a viewfinder, there were two reasons why I wanted one. On a sunny day, they make for beautiful scenery. The diopter adjustment also saves me from having to wear reading glasses to read the menus or see what I am shooting. One of the main reasons I chose it was its simplicity. As a result, I was pleased to find a camera with an optional viewfinder after not being able to find an integrated viewfinder that I liked. Viewfinders like this are so much better than teeny pop-up ones The camera's display may not be as crisp as the ones on other small ones. As I can see, the only drawback is that I will likely travel without the viewfinder and will need to remember to reattach it when I get back to my hotel You will need to install the hot shoe cover that comes Please take note of one As I read the description on the packaging, I could not believe this expensive and fragile part arrived in an envelope with no protection. All of my batteries, including the extra batteries, were delivered in heavy cardboard boxes. The vendor probably didn't know what he meant when he said that. The viewfinder seems to be working perfectly so far, but I'll just keep hoping there are no damage issues that will emerge over time.
