As a new astronomer, I'm learning a lot. So if you want to see bigger and closer, you will need to purchase another eyepiece with more magnification, less the mm, and use the barlows only with bigger eyepieces (26mm and 32mm).

Unless you plan on breaking it up, this is a quality, well made Barlow at a reasonable price.
The only drawbacks are that it is quite heavy and does not come apart so you cannot The 5X barlow is one of the eyepieces I have from SVBONY and I have been impressed with the construction quality and their attention to detail.

This is a very nice Barlow lens

My focus on this 2x Barlow lens improved with a number of the eyepieces I used and with two different telescopes Both a refractor and a reflector are required. I was able to get sharp images up to a magnification of 200x using both telescopes and the lens worked well.
