I think acquiring a barlow 3x is a good investment. The great point of this telescope is the breathtaking details shown on the surface of the moon or an excellent planetary view (the planet Saturn appears as big as your pupil, making observing Saturn rings easy). With your 1,000mm telescope, you can see a great deal of detail. 100x is equivalent to 10mm eyepiece with 10mm focal length. This means 300 times more power with a 3x barlow. The field of view is reduced to a couple of meters without a motorized mounting (motion due to earth rotation is too fast with such a small observation field). With a 2x barlow, you'll be able to observe Saturn in a more comfortable way. (You'll have more time to keep your eyes on parts of Saturn). There is no resolution with my refractor, which is neither APO nor ED, as chromatic aberration and other effects create no resolution at 5x. Due to the same reason, barlow 5x, which corresponds to 500x in your case, is not very helpful to you. Due to the lack of resolution in my telescope, this large image cannot be kept on the view field (due to rotation) nor does it appear clearer than a blurred image due to the large image's size. Thanks for reading, I hope it helped.
It's hard for me to recall seeing two barlows used at the same time, but don't let that stop Using this barlow with a large aperture scope is a great idea. With a 25mm lens, I use it on my Orion Xt10 Classic Dobsonian. As well as Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars, I use it for looking at Considering where I am (near a city), I do lose some clarity with it, but I think its magnification is unmatched.
You may have noticed that the eye piece on your Celestron looks to be The diameter of the disc is 98 inches. You are looking at a Barlow measuring 1.25 in width and is designed for use with an eye piece of 1.25 in width. I am 25 inches tall. Adapters may be found if you are able to find one. Nevertheless, this may not be what you are looking for.
In the 102, it appears that 1 is used. Each eyepiece has a 25" diameter. It should be no problem to use the Barlow lens if that is the case.

It was used, as new was too expensive for me so when I got it in the mail, everything looked brand new, the box was a little dirty, but I think it was left on water or something like that, so I cleaned it with alcohol and it looked almost as good as new. It is perfect to use the orion Barlow.
My Barlow lens was delivered to me tonight and I immediately tested it out by viewing Saturn with it. As the image grew, I was surprised by its size. As part of my research, I used it.
Because I haven't used it for other objects enough to comment on that, I am unable to critique it on that front.
A 5x Barlow on my C8SE allowed me to take some stunning photos of Jupiter from my back yard.
I would highly recommend this product due to its solid construction and high quality.
This is a great quality product!.
Currently we are using an Orion Spaceprobe 130 ST Equitorial Reflector telescope, and it has performed very well so far. As it stands, we are new to using a telescope in general, but using this lens has made a dramatic difference in the quality of the image we are.
