Product Description

With a 2x Barlow lens, it is fully multicoated metal with a Camera connect interface for telescope eyepieces with 75 threads
A barlow lens will double the capacity of any eyepiece already in your collection it will boost any magnification by a significant amount. The eyepiece it is designed for is 25"
Finished in a hard black anodized finish, the housing is accurate machined out of aluminum
A blackened lens edge and inner barrel will produce maximum contrast chromatic correction will ensure a high level of transmittance and ensure clear, crisp images will be visible.
There is a male T-thread on the back of this tripod that makes it possible to attach a DSLR camera to it as well as other T thread accessories. Filters for 25" are simple to add if necessary remove the optical glass part and the filter will fit

Questions & Answers

How do you install your barlows? Screw them in or slide them in?

An eyepiece slides into this Barlow instead of a regular one. Besides the t ring that attaches to your camera, you will need also the T ring to attach it to your camera.

Can an orion telescope be used with it?

Thanks so much for asking the question, friend! As long as your orion telescope is 1 inch in diameter or larger, it will fit. This interface has a 25" screen.

This looks like a doublet, doesn't it?

It is not a doublet, but a 2X Barlow. This is a nice addition to your lens collection at a good price.

Do you need to use Celesrton first scope with it?

I am pleased to welcome you to my website. It is suitable for anyone You just need to make sure the eyepiece is 1.25", so you would need to check that. Any in 25" will be helpful for me, please let me know Kelly

There are no issues with the mechanics, but there are with the optical element
3/5

This mechanical housing is well made, made of aluminum that's been anodized, and it's easy to disassemble. From the bottom (entrance end) of the assembly, a cell can be detached to reveal the lens. The simple 1 lens cell is created once the lens cell is removed. A quarter of an inch to a T An adapter for mounting directly onto a wall. There is one point at the top of the bottom (exit end). To project an eyepiece in the 25 inch eyepiece, an eyepiece could be inserted in the eyepiece. You don't have to use the optics that come with the unit, so it all works great. Those who include a negative lens in the assembly may find it disappointing. The tube is 20mm in A piece of plain, plano-concave, uncoated glass with a focal length of 125mm. It's not a cemented or even a coated achromat. As such, the sales specifications ("fully multi coated," "chromatic corrected," etc. ) are risible. This is typical of our overseas friends who tell us what we want to hear without explaining what those This is a There is a 22mm gap between the main element's 125mm and the 1. 25mm of the telescope focuser. There is a 25 inch shoulder on the eyepiece. A 38mm gap exists between the eyepiece receptacle and the shoulder of the focuser. Find out how much magnification you will need on your instrument using the Barlow formulas. In the following formula, M = f/(f+d), where f = 0 The focal length of the lens is 125mm, its focal length inside its focal plane is d, and its distance from the subject is a. In order for M to equal 2x as described for this product, d would have to be negative 62 is 1/2 of f. A focal plane of 5mm is inside the lens. Because of the shorter tube, I do not see how that can be done, so the actual magnification will be much smaller.

The quality of the product is determined by the price
3/5

the Svbony 2x1 is built very well, the build quality is really less than stellar. The 25" Barlow is a good and solid piece of equipment, but the optical quality of the glass is atrocious. There is no doubt that this is fully multicoated glass, as the product description and even the product itself also state so. I don't know what the multicoating is, but just looking through it left me wishing that I had never tried it out in the first place. There was no way to improve the clarity of the photos even with a Nikon DSLR attached. Chromatic aberration was so infuriating that I had to use a special chromatic aberration removal plugin in Photoshop to remove it all. I have never used any other lens to see the beautiful night sky, so all objects seen with the naked eye have a halo around them before the lens is removed. Make sure to save up for quality glass for your camera, just like you would with regular photography. You will drastically lose quality of your pictures (and view through the telescope) if you decide to buy a cheap telescope.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay A good finish and sharp images are present in the overall product
3/5

an amateur astronomer at the beginner level and do not want to purchase top-quality instruments because I lack the experience. My goal in getting familiar with my telescope was to begin getting acquainted with its options. I found a barlow 5x above $180 for my telescope, which I thought was a fair price. In the end if this ever gets damaged due to poor handling it would not be a huge loss, so it is worth buying in order to learn the instrument. After I become more familiar with setup, management, and handling all of those items, I will definitely acquire higher quality products for this purpose.

Getting one for your Telescope is worth it
5/5

I will be straightforward with you. The picture will be enhanced if you have a Celestron X-Telescope A Celestron telescope with a 900mm focus point is equipped with a Celestron LX 7mm lens. It is still necessary to use a color lens in order to resolve the blur of Venus and Mars. A good color filter will make Jupiter's color less stark, but you'll still need to see it a little clearer. Jupiter is colored slightly like the 5th planet, although it still looks a little streaky. I love how Saturn comes out and how well the rings are displayed.

Opinion expressed by a non-professional
5/5

Considering this lens was designed for amateur photographers, I am happy with it. Having owned a Celestron Omni AZ 102 telescope for a week now, I think that it is wonderful. Having the Barlow just in time for Jupiter and Venus to coincide was a significant benefit. It is possible to see the rings of Venus and the moons of Jupiter with the 10mm eyepiece that came with the telescope, but the scope's Barlow lens makes them appear quite clear. When I switch out a plain eyepiece for my telescope, I have found that I must refocus it. Some reviewers stated that they didn't need to refocus the review.

I appreciate it

I really like the price for the quality. I would give this a decent quality for the price. The shaft that you place into your optical tube is quite short. It is not threaded either, which may lead to the telescope tipping over with a heavy eyepiece or camera attachment. You should only use this in clear visibility conditions, if there is fog or ambient light or thermal radiation coming from the ground (for example. Install on top of dirt, sand, and concrete rather than over them. your images would be grainy. If I build craters on the moon and separate nebulas, I create craters on this moon. Saturn has storms that can be seen.

The quality of the products is excellent Prices are especially high for the quality of the product
5/5

The Barlow is of good quality and produces clear images and enhances the functionality of regular eyepieces & magnifiers. Nothing to worry about. I am ******** In addition to stacking with another Barlow to obtain a good boost with long focal length eyepieces, this works well with wide-field eyepieces as well.

A good product for the price, although the laminated lens has a wrinkle, as well as dirt between the two The quality of the product leaves the factory in poor condition

Here's the update The SVBONY team made things right, handed me a brand new replacement and it works perfectly! It was a bit slow to receive the replacement shipment, but customer service was great. However, the communication via email was excellent!.
