the Svbony 2x1 is built very well, the build quality is really less than stellar. The 25" Barlow is a good and solid piece of equipment, but the optical quality of the glass is atrocious. There is no doubt that this is fully multicoated glass, as the product description and even the product itself also state so. I don't know what the multicoating is, but just looking through it left me wishing that I had never tried it out in the first place. There was no way to improve the clarity of the photos even with a Nikon DSLR attached. Chromatic aberration was so infuriating that I had to use a special chromatic aberration removal plugin in Photoshop to remove it all. I have never used any other lens to see the beautiful night sky, so all objects seen with the naked eye have a halo around them before the lens is removed. Make sure to save up for quality glass for your camera, just like you would with regular photography.
