Questions & Answers

Would the 2xBarlow eyepieces that cost 3 to 5 times more be just as good as this?

However, when it comes to Barlow lenses, they are slightly better in my opinion, but I am not sure whether they are worth the extra cash. The price of some of these items is more than 5x what I paid. As I paid $14 for it, I would suggest you buy it at first and then buy another if you want a slight improvement. My current camera of choice is a 2 and I take pictures of planets. Although you may notice a difference with 5x Televue, you may not notice a significant difference without a very close look.

How does the T ring work on Canon DSLR cameras?

I want you to read this. It is necessary to use the correct adapter for your specific model of Cannon

Do you think that this is an eye lens that would result in better magnification on the Celestron 4SE?

There is no restriction on which one works with this. Regardless of the brand of telescope, the 25" focuser is standard. You may use 1 if your Celestron uses it. You will be able to use it when you add 25" eyepieces. You may find barlow lenses in eyepieces up to five times in magnification (normally two times, but you may see them up to five The entire purpose of their work is to accomplish that.

Do DSLR users with T mounts have any access to pull focus with the barlow?

Apparently, I bought it to be able to focus with it because I wasn't able to focus with the DSLR and T-SLR cameras A barlow definitely made that possible, and the smaller field of view proved helpful when photographing planets. It's my pleasure to help!

A thread that has been ripped
3/5

It was broken on mine, so the threads between the eyepiece receiver and the first screw had been stripped out. Tubes measuring 25 inches in diameter. Gluing the tube to the receiver makes it impossible to unbolt the lens for cleaning, which isn't a big deal, but still something to be done. The lens threads appear to be stripped (i. e. It doesn't look like the optic will have much trouble focusing, but we have not yet I will post pictures as soon as possible. As a matter of fact, it was only $15 and was delivered in good condition. I'd buy another one. If I ever get a chance to buy another I'll be buying a different brand because this could have been Other than that, it seems like it's well made.

It is a great addition to my celestron 130slt
5/5

I bought it due to its low price and positive This is a good barlow lens for the price. I have a Celestron 130 SLT and used the 9mm eyepiece that came with it, with this barlow lens, and I was impressed at how much better I could see Saturn and Jupiter with it. Now I can clearly see Jupiter's bands, when I would have needed a barlow lens and a 9mm eyepiece without which I would have strain my eyes. The barlow also enabled me to spot two more moons of Jupiter than I would have been able to without it without it, I could only see three. For the price of the barlow lens, this is a quality piece of equipment that I would recommend.

It is cheap, but it makes it easier to see the heavens
5/5

In addition to my knowledge of astronomy, I am also a photographer who has taken hundreds of high quality pictures Having recently acquired my Celestron AstroMaster 130, I wanted to see how well I could do with a telescope, so I purchased this Barlow lens so I could attach my Nikon D810 to it. I did not capture images as sharp as I can with my 1000mm camera lens, but it is still a decent capture given what I have to work with.

My Orion recently arrived
5/5

I haven't had the chance to get out in excellent seeing conditions yet. It's hard to beat the price and the quality is excellent. Although I haven't had really good seeing conditions yet, I recently purchased an Orion Shorty 2x and it doesn't seem to be any better on Jupiter with my EdgeHD 8 so far.

The price is low, but the product is good
5/5

My recent purchase of an inexpensive refractor was a good investment. I thought it was a good image for a $100 telescope, but I didn't think it was particularly excellent. Since I was using a cheap $12 Barlow, I thought that might be a problem, so I got this Solomark rather than spending It was hard for me to believe how much better the image looked.

There is a problem with the quality control process
3/5

There is a problem with quality control. Although it arrived in a sturdy plastic box, I found it to be broken in two pieces, and it appears that the threads that bind them together had been I attempted to reassemble it, but it had trouble staying together. The item had to be returned.

Barlow's first barlow was great
4/5

The quality of the product is excellent, especially for the price. There is a friend of mine who has been an amateur astronomer for most of his life and who has acquired some expensive His impression of the image quality was favorable.
